Disappointed at incorrect product description.
We purchased these lights specifically because they were advertised as "HIGH QUALITY GLASS & METAL OUTDOOR LIGHTS: Top, post and stake all made of durable metal." When we received them today, we were very disappointed to discover that the post IS NOT metal at all. It's plastic. In our experience, the post is the most vulnerable part of the light, which is why we paid the extra price for these lights. The lights themselves are satisfactory and the stake is metal. Will not be ordering more.

One minor construction issue, but otherwise a good buy.
Easy installation. Look good and so far are lasting from dusk to dawn unless the day before was mostly cloudy and they don't get to fully charge. The only reason I didn't rate 5 stars is because of what I would call a construction deficiency. The top of the stake that the post attaches to has a plastic piece held in place with a screw. The screw should be at least another 1/4 inch longer as it does sufficiently engage the stake. I bought 8 lights total and on three of them, the screw would not tighten enough to keep the post tight and fully upright. I had to buy longer screws to keep the lights upright and keep them from wobbling.

A Dagger In The Eye
These lights ruin a scene, as they have no diffusion or softening. The bulbs themselves thus “pierce” the eye. This is why you cannot use clear bulbs without a shade, and why bulbs that are visible are frosted. Old fashioned filament bulbs must be VERY low lumens, or else you get… this "stabbing" effect. These over-crisp “light stabs” make the scene disappear. The eye hurts (slightly) and the head wants to turn away. We put 8 in a gorgeous mission garden, and it was amazing how the scene completely disappeared. Try as we might, all we could see were these painful little stabs of light.I thought of sending a picture, but those posted already show this. You see LIGHT BULBS, patterns of light, not the scene, pretty much. This is a fairly serious and obvious product flaw. So I wonder at all the good reviews; except that the quality is indeed excellent. And if your night scene is not attractive and you just want light (and to see 99% of the light bulbs themselves and nothing much else) then these will definitely work as a visual "scream" of sorts. Or, if the area you put these into has a lot of light to begin with (so that eyes will not dilate) then they may not dominate all else. But these piercing naked bulbs will wreck any low-light night scene you place them into; unless you have eyes from planet Zorg.A solution would be for this company to send a diffuser sleeve in the package for customers who want to light a scene, rather than pierce the darkness with pin-prick light bulbs. I love the product other than this (rather overwhelming) flaw.

These Lights Don't Last!
I bought 18 of these SOLARPATHF2 lights in April/May, when I first placed them in the ground, I was thrilled. They were bright, I really liked the pattern that they put on the ground, and the overall look of the housings were awesome. Well now...5 months later, they don't even stay bright for 2 hours! I am bummed. At first they lasted for 8-10 hours, now not so much. Today was a bright sunny day in Southern California, and the lights get sun all day. I guess the batteries just don't last. Again, not happy! My neighbor has similar lights of a different brand and they are still bright when I leave for work at 4am...mine are out. Now I have to replace them after only 5 months.

Purchased 4 sets May 2019 and they worked and looked nice all summer.
In the fall they began failing...one by one we washed each glass globe and replaced each original battery with solar rechargeable batteries. None of them have ever worked again. Sadly, the return window closed prior to them failing. So, while these are the sturdiest of all solar lighting we have ever seen or purchased - presently they are disappointing and going into the landfill. Sad and wasteful.

BRIGHT! Glass and metal construction
Very heavy duty construction: glass and metal outside. VERY bright lights (maybe overly bright?) 1st day I set them up was cloudy, but I know that the lights were still going bright at 4:30AM - sunset was about 7:30PMRained last night, lights still going strong

Worked Great - - At First
Bought two (2) sets of these lights in November 2019. It is now June of 2020 and three (3) of the eight (8) lights have failed and no longer work at all.The lights that still work have decent brightness for solar lights. However the light only lasts about 5 to 6 hours after sundown. The light are very sturdy since they are not plastic. And there were definitely easy to put together.I just wish they would last at least a year !!!!If I had it to do over again I would not have bought them.

strong and bright
These are the best solar path lights that i have ever bought. They have a metal spike instead of a plastic one, which means that they are much stronger when pounded into my cement-like dirt. The light is bright and long lasting.
