First impression is it's a good purchase
Update: After 3 weeks at Glasgow Airport, in October, the car started easily first time. The same battery was completely flat after 3 weeks of no charge last year. The battery has a 4 years warranty and is now 5.5 years old. The Solar Panel has worked well.First impressions of the solar panel were good. It appears well made and quite sturdy. The Solar Panel has been purchased to keep a car battery charged when parked at an airport for 3 weeks. My car has a 'live' Lighter Socket in the rear of the estate vehicle so will accept charge when the car is parked. When testing I found less charge with light through the side windows so need to fit it on the top of the instrument panel at the front.By adding a length of cable via connection box I have added a small meter which confirms the plug is connected to the battery. The meter is set to read full scale with maximum light on the solar panel and drop to about 60% when connected to the battery.By including a switch, to measure amps, I can roughly check the level of charge.

Very Useful, Robust and Versatile
Robust solar panel with an aluminium frame surround about 20mm thick. Currently using two of these to keep my range rover battery charged (via a solar charge controller) and they are doing the job. The car uses about 4 Amps of battery power per day just sitting there so 2 weeks of not being used means there is insufficient power in the battery to start it, but these panels have cured that. In the summer I expect one 10W panel would be plenty for the lob, so the other will be fitted to one of my motorcycles. Really like these things - strong and versatile and can be linked together (I have done this for the winter). I will be permanently mounting one or two to the Range Rover roof rack before long and have high hopes for a permanent fix to the battery draining when the vehicle is idle. Nice bits of kit. I might even buy a couple more...

battery saver
Nicely constructed, good price and does what it claims - turns the sun's photons into moving electrons in a circuit. I use it to trickle charge the 2 x 12V paralleled lorry start batteries that start the engine of my barge. I don't run the engine too often, so don't need a huge solar cell to charge it too quickly. This PV cell is useful just to stop the batteries deteriorating over a long time. On a sunny winter's day I saw 0.4A flowing into my 400Ahr battery bank. Happy with that as a top up!.

Simple, efficient and as described - Good product
Hi, I bought this to charge a large 100Ah battery in an off grid situation "holiday cabin". The panel is excellent, outputs very well in low light situations and easy to use and install. You do need to be aware its a trickle charge panel and not a high output model but keeps the battery topped up very well.Recommended for keeping a battery in top condition. I used mine with a small charge controller.

Good Value for money.
I bought this to keep my 100 Ah leisure battery topped up while my caravan is in storage. I have 2 leisure batteries so that when we are without mains electricity we have one battery on charge with the solar panel while we use the other for running the lights & water pumping etc. This panel does just get a half empty battery back to good charge in time for our use but I think I will in time upgrade to a higher watt panel. May struggle a little in UK winter months purely due to lack of good daylight hours.

good. looks well made.
Kept my 12v boost box topped up over a week's camping trip, which in turn topped up two phones and the kids two tablets. Left it on the battery all the time. It could light up a 5w car bulb in fairly hazy sun, so I imagine 10w is possible in full midday sun if pointing the right way. 18v was available even when cloudy, so it was always putting something into the battery all day even if only a trickle

10W solar panel.
I have x3 of these type of panels 30watt power, charging a 88ah 12v leisure battery via a charge controller, area of the inner city "Wales" nearest the side of the house with most sun good 8+ hours of sun each day when its not cloudy losing a hour or more to large buildings that block the sun completely, even so every day sun or no sun, there's more then enough power for led lighting systems, electronics arduino raspberry pi and tft screens etc.Well made panels easy to clean and wire up provides power on even cloudy days.
