My grandson is in a toddler/ young child wrestling group. He excels beyond anyones expectations. The book is perfect for a 6 or above for discussing the morals and principals of the sport. Has a companion book for kids to train will off season. 5 stars, a definite yes!

John writes for the wrestlers, not readers! You don't need to be a bookworm to pick this thing up and fly through it. You'll be happy you did. A lot of great stuff!

Be that Wrestler was a great read. I read it while my sons had club practice. I recommended it to all my rec wrestlers. Hoping some of them actually take the time to get it and read it.My sons are reading it now. My youngest really took in on what you were saying early in the book about looking up other wrestlers info can be a distraction from putting the effort and can cause a mental barrier to being a top wrestler.
