Why Is Filter Base Too Large?
While it appears to be a solid oil filter and has been used on racing vehicles for awhile, its ANNOYING that, without apparent reason other than to generate ANOTHER purchase, this puppy and ALL current oil filters are being manufactured to be JUST TOO LARGE for the traditional oil.filter removal CAP I've been using for YEARS. Result? Well BUY another $10 oil filter removal tool of course! Thank you manufacturing engineers and marketing reps.

Great Filter Reasonable Price
These are great oil filters. K&N has a quality reputation it's hard to believe that their filters are better priced than brands questionable quality. I've been running these filters on trucks, sports cars, and imports.

OEM fit, but check the gasket
This fit perfectly on my 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe 2.4 base. However, i had to order a second because the first appeared to have a scuffed gasket, as if it had been installed and then taken off.

Most well made looking filter I've ever seen
I was impressed by the build of this filter, the gasket was very thick and very wide and filter was heavy for it's size.

Great Alternative for Hyundai/KIA OEM Filters
I installed this to my 2019 KIA Sportage as an alternative/replacement to the KIA OEM filter. I used the same filter for my 2012 Hyundai Sonata. Both vehicles have the same engine size, same filter part number.
