Nice and compact
I received this in a timely manner. I have not used it yet. I have it on hand for emergencies. I put one in y glove box in my car. Hopefully I will never need it.

Inconvenient and possibly useless in an emergency
It has to be soaked in clean water before use, and you can't drink for the first few sips. You also must backwash after use with clean water. May I ask, when using in an emergency, if drinking from a poor water source, where do you find clean water to flush? This means you have to soak and use before taking on hike or in an emergency. Ours are in our bug out bags still in the box.

Quickly filters
Wuick easy way to filter. Ive noticed a difference in taste with these as well. Less heavy metals. Easy to use and lasts a while. Worth trying for the cost.
