Motorcycle Confidence For Women: From Beginner To Beyond

A great read
Cat (the author) suggests that you don't need to read her book cover to cover. I agree. It is a great reference to pick up and put down as and when you would find it useful. That said, I opened the book at 17:15 on Sunday evening and read it from cover to cover, finishing at 23:00. Cat's writing style and approach really suited me and I will be returning to various chapters in the future, I am sure."Head up" is my immediate takeaway and it is working well for me already.I don't think you need to be a woman to benefit from Cat's hints and tips either. Nor do you need to lack confidence to enjoy and pick up tips from the book.Buy it. Be inspired. And ride, ride, ride.

Brilliant book!
I would definitely recommend this book to any women who have decided to learn to ride, or for any riders who are experiencing a dip in confidence!I previously had an extreme phobia of bikes and PTSD after witnessing a fatal collision so I’m definitely not a “jump on and ride” type of person. It took 10 hours of lessons, lots of tears and 3 attempts get through my CBT, reading this book has helped massively to realise that my thoughts and feelings I have now I’m out on the road are very common, and that I’m not the only one pushing through the fear and confidence issues.I honestly can’t recommend this book enough, I devoured it within 6 hours of it arriving and will definitely be referring back to it throughout the rest of my journey!
