Thorne Princess: The addictive grumpy sunshine romance and TikTok sensation

Was this book the cutest read ever with a side of mafia? Yes, yes it was! I love me a grumpy - sunshine romance but this was spectacular! 10/10 would recommend!

I loved this book. I found myself emotionally invested and absorbed from the beginning through to the end.While there are dark elements and themes to Thorne Princess, I thoroughly enjoyed the banter, wit, humour, and verbal sparring of the two main characters in this excellent enemies-to-lovers story with a difference.Ransom is a bodyguard (the hero/ antihero of the story) assigned to protect Hallie mostly from herself (a pampered, troubled social media princess), but also from murky, shadowy figures who may - or may not - be interested in a former President's daughter.These two start off resenting each other, but like all good slow burn stories, their mutual attraction and chemistry starts to heat up and eventually boils over!!This book has some darker elements, some nail-biting tension, and unwelcome jeopardy to really mix up the plot and also made for a compelling and suspenseful read.I highly recommend this novel to readers who love highly dramatic romantic novels with a twist.

I was sooo excited to read this book and this author did not disappoint. This book is a real page Turner and will keep the reader captivated until the very end.You will love the journey that these two go on together and I highly recommend that everyone reads this book. This is an enemies to lovers, forced proximity, bodyguard, slow burn romance that you'll love.Ransom is a bodyguard and he is in charge of protecting Hallie and let me tell you This is not an easy job to do. Hallie and Ransom are both broken in away and although Hallie gives him abit of an attitude I think she is doing it to cover up her own emotions, and he is a real alpha male totally. They both have alot of banter between them both that I loved.I absolutely loved reading about these two and I loved how this author has created these characters. I loved the chemistry between them both and the fact that when you think one thing something else happens. At first it's a will they won't they dynamic but that soon changes. I loved the suspense, all the angst, and all the emotions this book will make you feel. I was totally captivated throughout this book and I loved how much it flowed. LJ captivated me with her characters and made them one to life fantastically.⚠️Check the trigger warnings before you jump in though as there are some heavy topics.⚠️Thorne Princess is a MUST-READ!!!

3.253🌟 from me is that I enjoyed the book but don’t feel that it would be a book would go be looking to read. I had a love /hate relationship with the main characters.The story follows Ransom who is a bodyguard (protection officer) and Hallie the daughter of a former president.Random makes a very shallow opinion of Hallie based on tabloid gossip and information from a very il informed parents.The back and forth between the mmc and mfc is enjoyable in parts and the story does develop and we feel more depth toward the middle half of the book.Loved when Ransom finally brought out his protective nature and stood up for Hallie.Overall not the best LJ Shen book but worth a read

Step aside all previous book boyfriends, I’ve just found me a book husband!!!He’s eerily calm and vicious with his words. Laser focused on succeeding in business, throw in a cheeky bit of s3xual kink and you find that Ransom is seemingly devoid of feeling - until Hallie.If you think her rebellion is all part of a privileged sense of entitlement, you would be wrong. This smart mouthed, tattooed rebel is a survivor hiding in plain sight. Her story is painful, but her comeback is so much stronger than her setback and with an unlikely ally in Ransom guiding her, she rises like a flame haired phoenix.A monster from Ransom’s past, who helps you piece together more of how he became the robot that he is, threatens to derail the bump littered path to their fledgling happiness. As only he can, Ransom takes care of business but at the consequence of his first relationship.Pain, loss and personal growth take you down the homestretch to Ransom & Hallie’s conclusion and I am so sad all the words are finished! Bravo LJ Shen, this is a masterpiece 👏🏾.**There are triggers for some, and I’m not touching that, the author handles this at the outset. If you feel comfortable proceeding once you know what is in store, I really don’t think you will be disappointed. Much like every other book of LJ Shen’s, that I have read, this is a triumph

An enjoyable read. Not much substance, or plot but very enjoyable all the same. Perfect for light reading.Would read more by this author.

Honestly I have reread this book so many times , it's a must read for me . As always shen doesn't shy away from truma but uses it to influence and make a story line . It was an amazing read too bad it was a stand alone

I loved this bookThe story was great with amazing strong characters and a good funny read.Lots of great interaction that was believable and some great banter between the characters that brought them alive .I’m sorry it’s finished I could have read another 100 pages .

Their story is so interesting and amazing. It gave me The Kiss Thief vibes but is definitely a unique book. I related to Hallie and i love her growth. Ransom is a tough nut but the way he falls hard for Hallie is so delicious

I looked for this book a lot but did not find it at last amazon brought it love it just a little bent on edge of book so happy i can at last read it

I am a big fan of L J sheen’s work and there is something about her novels , that you cannot stop once you start.Thorne princess was no different, the character development of both ransom and Hallie was not only gripping but also personally inspiring
