Great for Experimenting with Shades
This takes some "think ahead"Prepare the henna takes 24 hours to sit once you mix it ... so plan to mix it 24 hours before you plan to use it.The indigo can be mixed and used in 15 minutes.Have a way to store the remaining powders for future uses.Wet your hair.Apply the desired amounts....But wait ... We found a second set of instructions. Which one do we use?You can mix different shades depending on how much of each you use.My daughter just did her hair in purple, but she looks forward to playing with this when she wants to dye it again.

Leave in longer
I like that the henna and indigo were packaged together, This was my very first time doing this process- I followed the directions and I really wish I would’ve left each mixture in my hair for longer periods of time to get more pronounced colors.

Natural hair dye
Decent amount of dye powder in each. You'll just need salt (for the indigo) and lemon juice (for the henna) if you plan on doing black. I like that its a natural hair dye with just 2 (or 3 including water) ingredients. 4 out of 5 stars. Recommended.

A Good Henna Pack
The non-pigmented henna is great for a once a week deep conditioner, my hair feels soft and healthier looking. The Indigo henna pigment looks nice, it works best on hair that has not been previously chemically dyed. I have white hairs so I added alma and lemon to help the color adhere to my white hairs better.

no chemicals but muted impact... needs tons of experimentation..
as expected, the color change is more temporary than chem treatments. However the organic nature of the product and its muted impact makes it worthwhile to experiment with. Sticky herby/grassy when applied, easy to rinse off, greys not really covered - masks it in a hard-to-describe color, blacks seem shinier. May not be the best option for covering a tony of gray hairs. Going to experiment with various combination to see if it impact is any different.
