Bright and convenient
I have been looking for a lightweight but bright stand light to replace poor pit lighting for some time. This light gives me what I need. It has a strong clamp so fits easily to the stand. It has 9 LEDS with two brightness setting giving different rates of battery consumption but is also supplied with an AC power adaptor to save batteries. The light spreads evenly across the stand and will easily illuminate two pages.

Light that now lights up my life!
It's becoming a common stolen advertising cliche to use now, but I have to say that this brilliant TGI Music Stand lamp "does everything it says on the tin!"Delivery was within 4 days despite stating it would be approx' 2 weeks!I play trumpet in the Royal Marines Association Concert Band and rehearse at the RM Museum in Southsea where the lighting is as pre. Victorian as the building itself! Therefore, it's become increasingly difficult to read the music, particularly now that the nights have drawn in! (Eyes now no longer need to be out on stalks!!)It's 2 option brightness is not required as the lower setting is absolutely fine to read every piece of musical manuscript perfectly. However, it could well come into it's own on future dimly lit concert hall stages. - It's just nice to have the option. Also the mains plug in is a boon to save on batteries. But for gigs I may have to revert to the battery option if access to a nearby mains plug is ever a problem!I can't recommend this superb and compact unit highly enough.

Great- for a while.
At first I was delighted, but after 8 months I have to express reservations. I also have a colleague who bought one but her experiences have paralleled mine, except (3) below. The problems are:1) The switch needs redesign: it gets accidentally turned on at the slightest pressure, thus flattening batteries. A positive lock slide switch would solve the problem.2) After a few weeks, one LED failed.3) After 8 months' use, the light has dimmed slightly and the colour temperature has changed from its original blue tinge to a warm creamy colour- like a normal light bulb. Not as clear.I'd give it 5 starts for initial performance, but only 1 for longevity.

Excellent lamp
This is a great product. Musicians may often be playing in dimly lit places and this solves the problem. It attaches strongly to any solid music stand and lights an A4 music page extremely well. I used two lamps side by side, placed over a double page on a piano recently when playing for a long production, and it worked out really well. I am very happy with it.

can't be slipped in a pocket like the twin bud style of light
Initially not too sure about this mainly because of the size, can't be slipped in a pocket like the twin bud style of light. However it has grown on me. The light level and distribution for a twin A4 page is good and cannot easily been seen by the audience. The included power adapter works well for longer sessions. The centre column of my music stand slips into a gap in the spring clip mechanism to prevent it slipping out of alignment. It sits happily on the clip battery holder to double up as a table lamp at my workstation. The light switch is a press type with two levels of light output and seems sufficiently recessed to avoid accidental switch on. The battery cover is hard to unclip/clip but ok once the technique is mastered. So in terms of design value for money it just gets a 5.

Does the job
One reviewer said the light dimmed over time. Hasn't happened yet but if it does I'll let you know. The power (USB adapter) cord is a bit short but get the Amazon basic USB 3m lead if you ned an extension.

Nice subtle light
This is used on organ in church. I have had no grumbles that it is a problem to anyone but lights up my music stand perfectly. Added advantage of being portable (as battery operated as well as plug into mains) should the need arise. Used it for a few years now and no complaints

Doesn't work! Total rubbish
Lights don't switch on. The mains light goes green when plugged in but lights don't switch on. Doesn't work with battery either. Worked for the first week so I threw away original packaging, but now that it doesn't work I can't return it as I don't have packing... very expensive waste of money. Don't bother
