Out of curiosity I bought a jar on clearance at a local British food store a number of years ago. I poured some over salmon, let it marinade a bit, and then fried it - I was hooked. I had been looking for it ever since and finally found it on line. There were only 10 bottles left so I bought all ten. I guess Geo Watkins doesn't make it any more because I didn't see it on their website. I'll give a few bottles away, but I am definitely keeping the majority. I haven't tried it yet, but a little in a Caesar dressing is probably dynamite.

The anchovy sauce took longer to arrive than most Amazon products, but that was OK because I was in no hurry. I have not used the sauce yet. I am certain it will work fine for the recipes that I was planning to use it in.

Very useful ingredient
I love this stuff! It's great for fish pie as it add a great taste, and is versatile enough to use in multiple dishes. Appearance is a small bottle but looks great. Great quality and excellent as a gift for those who love to cook. I'd recommend to anyone
