Is 2XL the size or the amount of boxes? Is $9.88 the cost for 1 or 2 boxes.

It is the size of the compartments and the price is for 1 box which holds a 7 day supply of vitamis am/pm for me.

Can this be attached to additional ones that might be purchased later?

Hi, Thank you for your inquiry. While these lockable double organizers stack easily, they do not attach to each other. Several different sizes and styles are available, some of which attach to each other.Sincerely,Lani Cruz650-355-8964

Are these bpa free? for pills?

Yes. The plastic is BPA free and made from medical grade, food-safe material.

Is the lockable double organizer (14 compartment) available in xl? 2xl is too big for carrying a week's worth of medications.

Sadly, not any longer, the XL's have been discontinued.
