This Thing Don’t Ding
I thought this would be another acoustic addition to our Brio railway. We have a static bell that rings as the train passes, a tunnel that makes a range of chuffing and spooky noises and a station on which you can record announcements. Unfortunately the little bell truck does not ring when it is being pulled by the slow moving battery powered Brio locomotives. Perhaps it’s a legacy item from the days of hand but it doesn’t work post electrification.

Bell is too quiet really, but it's ok otherwise. Nice to have something a bit different.

No Sound - Very Disappointed
Sadly, the bell doesn’t work at all really. Sometimes there’s a very slight ping...although I wouldn’t even call it a ping. It’s a shame, I was really excited about getting this for my little boy. Seems strange Brio would make it so ineptly. Really disappointed.

The bell has no noise!
It wasn't expensive as Brio accessories go but frankly I'm not sure of it's purpose because the noise the bell makes is so quiet it could be described as a 'dummy' bell. I'm sure that it wouldn't be difficult with an adjustment to make this with a bell that actually works.

Cute addition to Brio set.
This little bell train is really cute and makes a nice addition to my grandson’s train set. As some reviews noted the bell is not loud however we found it just perfect.
