The clamp on this thing is solid metal! It is staying in place once you put it there. Unfortunately I missed that this was for certain model of cameras and NOT universal. If you have a compatible camera for this mount, I certainly would recommend this mount as it is very sturdy.

This clip worked great with my camera. It fit on the bed VERY securely! My LO cannot get this one off! It seems to be very well made and very durable. It is extremely flexible and easy to use!

This is a replacement mount for certain baby monitors. It appears to be well made and has a sturdy (and very heavy) clip that will fasten onto most cribs, playpens, etc... Please note however that this is for the mounting equipment only, no monitor or other accessories. Basic instructions for installation are included.

This XLTTYWL Baby Monitor Crib Mount is very well made and stays where you put it. The clamp is padded to protect the surface it's attached to, and it takes a bit of muscle to open it up. I had a hard time getting it open far enough, as it has such a tight grip.Though it claims to be universal, it did not work with one of our cameras that is very similar to those shown in the photos, but it definitely works with one that is listed. I would not consider this a universal amount at all. That said, it is a very sturdy and strong crib camera mount, and I would recommend it.

The clamp takes a bit of strength to open, and it has rubber pads inside the jaws. When it clamps on to something, it isn't going anywhere until someone intentionally release it. The neck is quite flexible, but again, it takes some strength to bend it. Whatever you mount on here, it isn't going to slip and slide due to mild vibrations, or a child bumping it. In fact, it will take a determined effort for an older child to dislodge this camera mount.The finish is a nice, clean white semi-gloss, which will be easy to clean when necessary. The flexible neck is sealed nicely inside of a plastic jacket, which will be equally easy to clean. The decorative stretchy bands on the clamp may not be so easily cleaned, but you can optionally pull them off, or just cut them off, and discard them.I'll give this one five thumbs up, because it far exceeds my expectations.

I guess I just assumed this would hold my camera since it was a kidsneed brand but it didn't and have to return.. Please check the model numbers people unlike me...

Great clip on mount that is sturdy. It worked just fine with my baby monitor and used this to get a better view in to the crib.
