Oh this book is scrummy! I wanted a book that I could sit at the piano on an evening or a Sunday afternoon and just relax enjoy some of the most delicious songs under my hands....You can see the list of songs in the description, there are 40 top selling, high quality songs.The arrangements are excellent. Look I don't profess to be an expert but I'm a piano teacher and classroom teacher. I've spent a lot of time transforming crappy arrangements that miss out the cool bits (like the intro in At Last)..... In this book the songs have been carefully worked so that the piano usually has the tune written into the right hand (supporting singers, or sounding good as a solo) AND the seperate vocal line with chords. Print is very clear and also easy to improvise with chord and melody.Most of the songs are in the same key as the most famous recordings on YouTube/CD etc. If say even if you're not the best singer, like me, the vocal lines are written well and easy to access.The piano arrangements I'd say range from around Grade 5 to 7ish. I'm able to sight read most of it while singing unlike some books I've got where it's just not manageable for fun. (I'm a fairly experience pianist and teacher but also now disabled and bit rusty so I was chuffed that I could manage them all. 🎶 🎹The only things that's annoying is the spine. Wish it was ring bound!At 40 songs for about £13 that's 30p a sing which is great value. The chords are like purple chocolate velvet pillow being squished Mmmmm lovely.Highly recomend.

Iam constantly buying new books for sight reading practise and this is perfect for that! Not the usual selection of songs, with a few odd ones like “the birdy song” sneaked in, but it arrived next day, perfect condition and makes a change from sight reading classical pieces and burgmuller! I’d say it’s grade 3-4, simple keys with swung 8th notes and arpeggiated left hand! Very happy

Not a bad selection of tunes, though there were a lot I have never heard of.

Love this book. Quite challenging for me, and probably too tough for beginners. All the keys seem to be spot on. Nice selection of songs, although not all Jazz as such, but who'd buy a music book before they've read the whole content list...?

Fanatic for jazz players. Very pleased with purchase. Could have been better with ring binding though. It has a good selection of jazz pieces, and its a joy to play. Well worth the money

My grandson is teaching himself piano, his younger sister can read the words while he gets hold of the dots. They are getting a lot of pleasure from this hefty catalogue of jazz standards. I can see them working the bars in ten years time. this book will hanging out with them, beer and tear stained .

Good selection of songs for jazz vocalist. My daughter was really impressed with her surprise. She is already using the book and doing her practicals with some of the songs. It will definitely improve her marks.My only wish, if the book was accompanied with a backtracking CD. I would have paid extra for that....
