Great but flawed!
So to start with, this is a great stepper motor for the money, it weighs around 140g and is more than suitable as an extruder (I run mine as an extruder motor for a Clone BMG direct drive on my Sapphire Pro), but you might need to change your volatage (I am using 0.9v and it runs well). There are some issues however!1. If you want to use this as a lightweight stepper for a direct drive setup, buy some form of heatsink (you can buy them on Amazon). This stepper will run hot (over 50 degrees, which is greater than recommended operating temperature) so will need some help cooling, otherwise it won't last long.2. The main shaft of the motor has a notch cut out for the grub screw of toothed gear, but (at least on the two of these I have bought) the notch is off center, so the toothed gear doesn't always engage with the gear in the extruder unless I rotate the gear 180 degrees and tighten the grub screw on the opposite side of the shaft.3. The shaft on the two motors I have bought are not entirely in the center! I almost returned these motors as I when mounted them, the toothed gear barely touched the gear in the extruder (causing it to skip regularly or not extrude at all). Once I realised this, I rotated the stepper 90 degrees and now it works great! So now I have worked out these kinks, these motors are pretty great for the price, but if you are not aware of the issues, then I wouldn't be surprised if you would throw these in the bin (In nearly did).

So quiet! perfect for a direct extruder mod.
if you use Klipper (like I do)Try these settings:Rotation 28.5 (seemed to work for me)Current 7.5 - 8.0#no hold currentI'm not saying that will work for you but it does for me however this motor gets HOT!! you can barely touch it.I would say its half the weight by feel in comparison to the Creality ones.Really happy with it so far, Id like to mod my other steppers now *dual Z, Y and X*This is used on an ender 3 pro with full linear rails.(if the company fancy sending me out 4 of these ill do a video review) - If you don't ask you don't get!

Nema 17 Pancake stepper
The price point is a good one for testing a direct drive upgrade to a 3d printer.Worked perfectly mechanically speaking.Runs a bit on the hot side, im seeing 55°C which is a bit close to the GTT of PLA for my liking.i will experiment with voltage but ive already seen issues under .9vit needs a fan but that will cause travel issues on the X

Bloody quiet...
They don't lie. The motors are very very silent. After 4 years, my Kossel delta printer started to mess up.Increasingly louder and louder - the bearings died in the original motors after approx. 15 km of printed filament.I bought these engines for a test and I will say one thing - I can not hear them at all.I am a bit crazy about noise after complaints from my better half. That's why I changed a lot for better comfort.OK, I use 2209 drivers, but the difference is still huge.It just suddenly fell silent, even though it was already silent. So so far I am MEGA happy with my purchase. I have mixed feelings about the quality of Chinese companies. But I very like this product. I recommend.BE CAREFUL OF ONE DETAIL - if you want to use the wires in the printer from other motors, and not the original ones that came with them in the box - you have to swap the two center wires of the motor plug. The manufacturer just changed the connections inside and they are beyond the standard. And the direction of rotation can be done by changing places of any pair of wires of the same winding - for example in the 3rd photo green and black or red and blue.

A good quality stepper, but it will be too large for the Ender 3 Y axis without modifications
This is a well-made drop-in replacement for the Creality and other common 3d printer models and worked perfectly as an X axis replacement on my Ender 3. However - and this is actually a good thing - it is longer than the stock X and Y steppers and the same size as the extruder stepper. This means it has greater torque and can be used to replace any of the steppers - however, on the Ender 3 at least the Y axis clearance would be a problem unless you cut away some of the bed support structure. However if you had a stepper failure on the Y axis you could replace the X axis motor with this one and swap it over to the Y axis. For the price this is probably the cheapest quality unit you're likely to find, and it's been running for 50 hours or so since fitted, more or less continuously. Another advantage of fitting a larger motor is that the running temperature is significantly lower. As fitted, the temperature barely rises above ambient whereas the Y stock stepper is running at nearly 50 degrees.

good single stack stepper
Very nice stepper motor. Note these are single stack (as opposed to the more popular double stack) so have less torque. I would not use these for an extruder for instance, but they are perfect to drive a low load gantry on a 3d printer or laser.

Great replacement..need estep calibration though for sure
Nice replacement for my stock Ender extruder motor. The Ender one had a compression fitting for the gear hence the change so i could complete my Swiss Direct Drive which needed a chamfered drive pin.. if you fit this you will need to manually redo the estep calibration as the 130 figure given in the install guide made it way under extrude. Figure turned out to be about 341. Plenty oc Youtube videos on how to do it..
