Perfect. Well made and nice and heavy. Great replacement instead of the plastic one that comes with the delonghi dedica.

Very well made perfect for even tamping

This Tamper comes well packed in a close fitting cardboard and plastic tub and has a black fabric tie string bag to keep it clean and protected from knocks. That could be important as the material is stated on the box as "Steel Chromed" and there is no mention of Stainless Steel. It certainly looks and feels like chrome plated mild steel so time and use will tell.It has a nice flat tamping surface 50mm diameter with a 0.5mm edge chamfer giving the overall diameter of 51mm as described. It weighs 587 grams so it's close to the product description although the box states 621 grams - not a big issue and the weight is good enough to provide consistent pressure to flatten and compress the coffee in the holder without extra manual pressure. I use it daily with my De Longhi Dedica and it's a great improvement on the plastic tamper provided by De Longhi.

As per other reviewers, this item is chromed carbon steel (it even says so on the box) not stainless. Nonetheless, it's well packaged, solid and reasonably well finished so OK for the money. Time will tell how it stands up.

It's simple, weighty, easy to handle, Chromed Stainless Steel, and a more reasonable price than most of the Coffee Expresso Tampers sold on Amazon. It seems much easier to tamp the Coffee, with no side powder creep and much better compression.

Fits great in the smegg espresso machine.

Does not quite completely tightly fit the interior of my Bialetti grounds holder, but close enough for 95% compaction

I am amazed on the quality of how well maid this product is, it is really heavy and tempers perfectly, it's very clean and no coffee sticks to base. Highly recommend

What can I say. It does the job, exactly the size I was looking for, good weight and quality. Have seen meh looking ones, for more $$.Can’t go wrong with this purchase.
