KODAK PIXPRO, Edited review. View screen too dark when outdoors.
Kodak PIXPRO FZ45 Digital Camera screen very dark. I chose Kodak because it was a name I could trust, and reviews were very favorable. My opinions differ. UPDATE: If you are taking photos indoors, maybe vlogging, it's fine. However, taking photos outdoors on a sunny day turned out to be a very different matter. I couldn't make out on the viewing screen the subject I was attempting to photograph. It's WAY too dark. I have gone through the instructions regards settings, and consulted the videos on Youtube. There is simply no setting regards the viewing screen. There is on other Kodak cameras, but not this one. In spite of what AI tells you on Google, there is no LCD brightness control in this Kodak PIXPRO FZ45 Digital Camera. And yes, my batteries were fresh, and no, I hadn't dropped the camera. And yes I did a "reset". Disappointing. I would not buy this item again.

Stopped working. Unable to return.
Do not buy. Stopped working after 4 months. Bought in January 2026. Return window closed at the end of February 2026. Warranty should be longer than that. Unable to give zero stars.

Loveee this camera so much! The quality is amazing but it dies so so so fast💔I have to switch out batteries every other day but the quality is so good it doesn’t even phase me that I have to continuously change the batteries
