My 8 year old loves this book. He is very much into bodily functions and he cannot get enough of this.

Listen. I like the product as a whole. It's a good book and it's informative. However, It's let down by it's gimmick. The supplied coloured gels work well, apart from the blue one. It is FAR too dark to even see the illustrations, even directly under a lightbulb. It's frustrating. I literally have to shine a torch on the page for anything to show up using the blue gel. So what? well, that's 30% of the book I can't use unless I shine an L.E.D. flashlight at it. I'm an adult and I find this a pain in the a**. My kids? 13 and 14 respectively and really interested in science. They noped out after trying to use the blue gel.

Beautifully curated, this book was an instant hit. Some say the lens is a gimmick but for primary aged children, this is a fun way to get insights into the layers of the human body.

You do need a very bright light to see the organs, but the musculature and skeletal structure are very clear. I was intrigued to find if this worked, having seen it on a YT video, and I am suitably impressed. Quite simply, this is fun no matter your age.

Great book, my son wanted this for ages. It has glasses within to be able to see the different images. It took a while to get delivered but thankfully I ordered in plenty of time before his birthday.

This book is so much fun, we love to look through the glasses.
