Best Bedtime Stories Ever, 9780007413560

I couldn’t find an age range for this, but got it for my 2 year-old grandson anyway, as he was just starting to graduate out of interactive flap books and developing the attention span to listen to a proper story.Unfortunately, the concepts and language in this book are way too advanced for him, and there’s just far too much going on in the illustrations for him to assimilate anything.I was looking for simple narratives and got crazy, complex mayhem! Certainly not what I would really consider to be ‘bedtime stories’. That said, I do think the stories and drawings are very clever and would definitely appeal to an older child, hence the 4 stars.Misjudgment on my part, but I’ll get it out again in a couple of years, when I hope he’ll be old enough to enjoy it. Charming stories for reading with your young child. Nephew loves them!

Love these books. Nice and colourful with lots of detail. Only downside was that there was a fold in the back cover but won't be a problem by the time my nephew starts using it!

Not quite as fun as cars and trucks and things that go, but good none the less. My boy is nearly 3 so maybe a bit young for this

My granddaughter is disabled but likes these books, has lots of pictures for her to follow the story.
