If/when these bulbs die, I’ll update this review. If it’s not been updated, assume my bulbs are still going strong.Brightness:I replaced 6yr old Morimoto HID bulbs and these LEDs are about the same brightness. I would assume that means that these are slightly less bright than a set of new HIDs. If you’re going for straight brightness, stick with HID.Output:At least in the D1S projectors in my BMW e93, the beam pattern is slightly scattered and not as sharp as HID. I’ve also lost the blue flare along the top edge of the cutoff.It seems that the hot spot has moved upwards, my brights definitely shoot further down the road and have a wider spread than HID.Color:These do appear to be a true 5000K. CRI is not good though, I’d estimate around 80? That’s on par for cheap LEDs though and you shouldn’t expect these or any LED headlight to be able to accurately represent color in the same way HIDs can.Install:These were truly plug and play. They power directly from the HID ballast. The connection to the plug is quite secure. I also receive no bulb out errors on my BMW which have notoriously sensitive electrical systems. Very impressed in this aspect.Build quality:Each of my bulbs looked identical so quality control seems good. They’re solid metal (aluminum?).

I replaced the factory original Headlight fixtures in my 2007 X5 (E70) as the clear lenses were so far gone and I found a good deal on aftermarkets which were identical except for the adaptive feature (no motor for look ahead turning). But the HID bulbs were a constant frustration being so dim - I tried Osrams, Philips, Sylvanias, all of them. I got very frustrated seeing so many newer vehicles with LED fixtures and bulbs lighting up the road so much better. And until I stumbled upon these direct-fit replacements with no modification needed, I was led to believe that LED bulbs would only work if I bypassed the 35W HID ballasts. And even then the finicky BMW FRM module would present problems. Or so I thought. I took a leap of faith as another reviewer claimed these would plug right in and just work. And I’m pleased to report they do exactly that. And they’re far brighter than any of the xenon HIDs. I just - after almost a year of use - ordered another pair of these bulbs as spares. I don’t know how durable these are but I figure I wouldn’t be upset if they only last a year - we’re lucky just to have such a great solution to the crummy HID bulbs.

I usualy ONLY buy AUXBEAM brand, but they dont make this style for my truck. So i went with these and i am very satisfied. No problems and they are very bright. Makes a world of difference

These led headlights directly replaced the HID bulbs in my 2014 F150 , FX4, just pry the metal cover over the headlight connector back far enough to release the locking clip on the green connector under that metal cover and then the green plug pops right off, the white color of these bulbs is bright and a real improvement over the factory HIDs and high beams are a vast improvement also, would recommend getting these because of direct replacement, easy swap

These headlights were an expensive compared to other LEDs. I’ve been using them for about a month now and have had zero issues. They honestly have to be twice as bright as what the factory Hid light I replaced was as far as lumens/bright ness

These lights are decently bright and a simple replacement for HID but after only a week of having them one of them has already stopped working and the other goes in and out. The cooling fan is too close to the board in the headlights and makes contact causing them to stop working. Ended up having to go back to my HID lights. Can not recommend buying these.

I put these in an E90 BMW 3 Series. Once you get past all of the typical BMW pleasantries that make headlight changes a wheels off job, the headlight replacement is easy, plug and play, and a fantastic upgrade. These are so much brighter than the OE Xenon lights. It's seriously like driving a brand new car with a modern lighting system. I could not be happier. Highly recommend this economical upgrade.
