Great addition to my printing.
I used to print labels on my inkjet and basically have gotten feb up with only using one or two from of the 4 labels for that one off label. This printer is great. I don’t waste labels anymore. The app on the phone and PC I was concerned wouldn’t have the right features. But the mobile app is great. Send a pdf to the app and you can crop it to the label size. Perfect and quick. My only issue is that some of the labels I get sent to print end up looking really bad with the barcode and some readers in an evri drop off cannot scan them. The fix is to increase the quality and decrease the speed. Took a few attempts to get it right but I basically doubled quality and halved speed and it worked lovely. I’m not bother at how fast it printed anything as I’m not running off thousands of labels at a time.

OK for shipping labels but not all labels as advised
It is a fantastic printer really easy to set up looks good feels good quality, the only draw back that I had was that there were no labels in the box to test it, fortunately I had ordered a pack at the same time so I was able to complete theSince using for few days I have down starred it as it do say that it can use labels of various sizes but it doesn't for me there service dept are helpful and friendly but I still had to return the phomemo labels I brought for it as they simply did not work in there printer ..Edit....Have sent the printer back it keeps rejecting all new phomemo thermal rolls that I have brought I tried to custom print on a 4x6 label and after an hour to do just 6 lines I have given up and sending it back just keeps flashing red the app on the phone is no good what so ever to custom print so they can have it back.

Impressive!
Quick and easy. Worth every penny! Came with a few labels too which was handy to practice with to see if I liked it first before buying a whole roll !

The final answer
Got this as an end solution to spending a~~~lot on coloured ink, when in-fact all I needed was a label printer. and it does just that perfectly, along with a few extra features too!

Top quality and portable but needs mains power and is pricey
The build quality of the Phomemo label printer is good, but given the cost, which is not insignificant, this is to be expected. The printer seems to be tough, durable and more than up to what it is intended for.The Phomemo label printer is a versatile printer you can use with a computer (via the supplied cable) or a mobile phone over blue tooth using the Labelife app which makes it ideal for small/home business use.The Phomemo printer driver is available on both Windows and Mac so it is available for all. It is also quick to download and works very well. The Labelife app is user friendly, intuitive and nice to use. There is a good choice of label formats or you can create your own bespoke design. The pre-set labels are sufficient for my use and I have no need nor desire to create my own labels so I am unable to comment on how easy the process is. In my experience the Labelife app is stable and not at all buggy.Measuring just 12cm x 18cm x 9cm the Phomemo printer is big compared to other label printers, but it’s not huge and doesn’t take up too much desk space. At a little over 1.3kg it is hefty though. The really small label printers rely on computers to work so the slightly bigger size of the Phomemo is not surprising. Even at these dimensions and at this weight I consider the Phomemo printer portable and great for taking to trade shows and markets away from home, provided there is a mains power supply. The max printing speed of 72ppm isn’t super fast but it’s plenty good enough for printing labels, unless there are hundreds to do. Printing isn’t particularly quiet but then does it really need to be silent? There are 10 sheets provided with this printer, which is enough to get you started and learn how to use the printer, but that’s about it. Additional labels are a must buy.At £119.99 (at the time of review) the Thermemo printer is quite expensive however it is a well made and quality bit of kit. Whilst it is good value for money I wouldn’t consider it top value for money.Other than the high price the only other disadvantage for me is the fact a mains power supply is required. If the printer a rechargeable battery and could be used either plugged in or using its own internal battery it would be a lot more versatile. I appreciate a battery would increase the weight a bit but I consider this a small price to pay for a more useful printer.Disclaimer: I am privileged enough to be part of the Amazon Vine program and as such I have the opportunity request products that I would find useful/potentially buy to road test in exchange for an honest review. I am not paid for this and all of my reviews are unbiased and based on my own experience.

Was disappointed with a few small things, but otherwise seems like a great thermal printer
One of the things that disappointed me the most with this thermal printer by Phomemo was the very limited amount of included sample paper. A pack of rolls would have been ideal for the price tag of nearly $130, but instead there were only a few basic sheets in a plastic baggy. It was almost insulting, for the high price charged for this device. Rolls of thermal paper and stickers are already expensive enough, it feels kind of scammy to not include a larger package of paper when you first buy the device.Another failure of price versus offering ratio is that this printer seems to have no ability to connect wirelessly, only via direct cable. This makes using it with your mobile smart phone, for example, quite cumbersome. There is an included dongle/adapter for basically connecting USB-A to USB-C, which I assume works if you have an android phone, but I have no way to connect my lightning-based iPhone 14 which is still very modern. Again, for the price, there should be a wireless feature available. The printer seems to print well enough, but what people often don't explain about thermal printers is that it's very important you get a type of thermal paper with longevity. Same is the case here, the instructions are very basic and do not describe the types of paper available or why one type might be superior over others. I was actually surprised to find there was no detailed instructions on what software to even use with this device, only that there was a Chrome extension... which I suppose is a bit more universal than building software for every operating system, but it was still a cumbersome process to get started.Overall, it prints well, after I was able to purchase some thermal paper and stickers I was confident about. I will make use of this device, but at a substantial overall cost to me of both time and investment in the future. I might have been better served going with a real ink printer, but thermal does have it's advantages and I'm happy that it prints sticker labels also, which will come in handy for my business, so overall I'm still giving this product 4 stars.
