First of all it looks great, I love the pixel style of the clock. However I’ve had 2 of them die within a few days. The second time it happened I noticed the power supply was very hot, so I swapped it for another USB power supply that I had lying around. The clock started working again straight away. So I’d recommend using your own power supply with it rather than the cheap one it comes with.

The plug and cable supplied don’t work. You need to wiggle to usb cable in the plug slightly for it to work but soon as you let go it stops working and the clock goes off.Needs a new cable and plug, I’m guessing the cable and plug quality is the cheapest of the cheap, but because of this the clock won’t work.

Would give 5 stars but the display doesn't dim quite as much as it should/could. Fantastic in every other department. (I have it on the window sill next to my router, so used a small cable to power the clock via the router's USB! Saved having a long wire running off the ledge! Which would look awful as the landlord has the routers cable going into the window sill?!!!)

Great retro light. People who are hard of sight would love this [grandma loved it]. Would definitely recommend

I have one of these clocks from a different manufacturer. It’s shown in the picture supplied as the BOTTOM of the two clocks. It is classed as white but always looked like a cool bluish white. I got used to it but it wasn’t ideal.However, I use it in the kitchen and it is wall mounted. At night it’s brilliant because the light it casts acts like a night light so we can pop in and out without switching on any lights to see. This would be too bright for bedroom use for most people. We had it a fraction over two years and the display started to glitch (turns out it’s just the power adapter failing, not the clock, so we order a new usb plug and it’s fine).This review for the second clock we ordered to replace the glitching one… in the picture it’s the top clock, and we ordered ‘WHITE’. I’d like to think they sent the wrong product and mistakenly sent a blue display. I can’t tell as the box is all written in Chinese… but I suspect this IS the white version and thr display is just very poor. I’ve seen the blue clock option and they’re a really vibrant blue, not this cold blue.I didn’t keep it. I didn’t like it. So for everything about this clock design and use, I’d give four stars (losing a star for minutes function) … but to this manufacturer I’d give only 2 because I hate the display colour. So I awarded an average 3.

We put this in our bedroom, it's a little bright. Lights up the room at night. We ended up putting some colour filters in front to bring the brightness down to a more appropriate level.
