This kit is a great option for any dinosaur living person from about 6 and up depending on their abilities and sensibility.I would definitely suggest using this outside to reduce the dust levels and to keep down the mess as it can and does create a lot of it.It comes with everything needed to excavate the dinosaur including instructions and requires a gentle hand to extract the pieces and then assemble the dinosaur. The dinosaur if left in the sunlight or bright light is then great at glowing in the dark and has proved to be a hit with the person whom I gave it to.Overall this is an excellent kit that makes a lovely gift and is ideal for anyone who loves dinosaurs or who wishes to become a palaeontologist in later life. I have no problem in highly recommending it, nor in giving it a fully deserved 5 star rating.I hope that this review has been helpful to you in deciding whether this is the right product for you.

This is a great kit to keep kids amused and they can build a dinosaur once they’ve found all the pieces. The kit comes with a little booklet with plenty of dinosaur information and a picture showing where the pieces fit. The excavating mould comes with wooden hammer, chisel, brush and a plastic magnifying glass. Once all the ‘bones’ are discovered they can be snapped together to make a T-Rex. If you expose the model to white light or sunlight it will glow in the dark. The time exposed increases the time it will glow.My eldest great nephew absolutely loved this kit, it kept him amused outdoors (less mess) and meant the dinosaur was charged up naturally in the sun and did, in fact, glow in the dark as it’s states. He has grown away from his younger interest in dinosaurs but loves anything to do with science or history, and anything he learns from these kits he follows up with internet research too.I feel the price is slightly high without some sort of base to display the model but my nephew loved this kit so much he’s requested more for presents. It kept him completely entertained and his parents think it’s worth every penny as he’s harder to please now he’s older. Therefore, I think it’s worthy of five stars.
