Original review of grey top:I was wary buying this because of the reviews on variable sizing and quality. So to give it a try I got the light grey which was on offer for 49p!! Yep that's forty nine PENCE bargain hunters! I figured I will take a risk for that!I was after something for layering of which would still look ok if I got warm and needed to take off to top layer. I tend to struggle to get tops which sit right on me as I'm tall (5ft 8) and have a long body with a smaller waist (size 10) and larger boobs (size 12). I usually find if I buy something which fits at the waist it pulls across the boobs and vice versa. I took the advice of the previous reviews and ordered the 12-14 size. I'm glad I did. I definitely wouldn't have wanted it any tighter. I would agree with other reviewers, definitely size up at least one size for a snug fit, 2 if you want a more relaxed fit.However, despite my reservations, I am actually super impressed with this top, especially for 49p!! Jeez Louise! That's practically free!!It's 95% viscose and 5% elastane so its fitted but with enough 'give' for comfort. It's a great flattering length, even on my long body and I usually struggle to get tops which don't ride up too high at the back when I sit down (I know you taller ladies are all hearing me right now #saynotothebumcrack). The sleeves are a good length too. The fabric isn't heavy but also not so thin that it's see through. With a tee shirt bra under it, it all sits nice and flat.It remains to be seen how well this will wash and wear over time and if it pills or the stiching gives out etc. But, I'm impressed enough that I'm about to order 2 more in other colours to see me through spring/early summer.For comparison, I also have a couple of Joe Browns 100% cotton long sleeved tee shirts and I would say this top appears to be at least as good quality with the added benefit/comfort of stretch. I will try to remember to report back if I have any quality issues when I have worn and washed a few times.**Update and review of 2 other colours**They grey has washed well so far 3-4 times. Stitching intact, no pilling so far.I also ordered the turquoise and the cobalt blue. However...they aren't the same as the grey one at all. Please see pictures. They aren't the same brand (the blue has no brand label at the neck at all but appears the same as the blue) The neckline isn't the same, the fabric on the blue and turquoise is slightly silkier and shinier than the grey which does make the blue and turquoise look a bit 'cheaper' and thinner. The blue is also significantly shorter and a fits differently as a result. Definitely won't be wearing this with my low waisted jeans as it rides up when I sit down causing the dreaded bum crack visibility. I cant get away with it at 40. My son would say 'Not cool, Mum'. :-/The turquoise is between the two in length. I would wear the grey on its own but the other two I'd probably only wear as layering tops. A bit disappointed as I love they grey one.Bottom line, all three tops are perfectly fine, especially for the price, but buy in the knowledge that there's no consistency in fit, size, shape and fabric between colours so you just have to be lucky.Please be aware that this seller does not combine postage if you order more than one. When I emailed to ask why, I was told that the cost of the items are so low because they make money on the postage. I'm surprised they admitted to that but there we go. It's a slightly dishonest pricing structure.For all these reasons, I'm reducing my previous 5 stars for the grey one to an overall 3.

I'm a size 16 at the minute but given tops I've bought from amazon before I decided to take a chance on getting the size 20-22 and its a good job I did. It fits perfectly and for once the arm length is great because I always struggle with any long sleeve tops actually coming to the wrist but this is spot on. I will definitely be ordering more of these. Recommended from myself to anyone wanting to but this.Updated review- the above is correct for the burgundy and white however the grey, black and charcoal was also ordered as a size 20-22 but only just fit my friend that's a size 8. Requested for refund. There's a serious sizing issue with these tops that needs addressing.

I thought I'd take a chance with my £1.50 (plus postage) as it looked just the colour I was looking for and it's really good for the price. It is all cut straight, no twisted hems or anything. It is quite silky and very stretchy. I took the advice of previous reviews and bought a bigger size, I am a 14 so bought a 16-18. It is a reasonable fit, not very shapely but a very good length, coming down to hip level. It is a bit thin and clingy as you can see from the photo, but not too bad. As I wanted it to wear under a particular cardigan it's absolutely ideal and I'm pleased with it. I would probably buy it in other colours, even though some might say I have far too many clothes already.

When I first unpacked this, I was disappointed. The fabric is very thin (even though it is a dark colour) - you can see through it when it’s held up against the light. It felt very cold and slippery and the neckline was slightly puckered.However, on putting it on, things got better. You can’t see through it on (not sure the same would be true if it was a pale colour), the fabric warmed up and the puckered neck flattened out. I am usually a large 10 or small 12, but was glad I ordered a 12/14 (although the bag was marked medium). The sleeves are very long. Although I wouldn’t wear it on its own, it actually fits well and will do the job, which is to be worn underneath a top as an extra layer for warmth without adding bulk. So all in all, good for the price.

On advice of other reviews, I bought 12/14 even though I am a size 10 (35" chest). I am happy with the fit of the size purchased.The item is as per the description and ideal for wearing as a soft, stretchy, silky feel layer, under a shirt or jumper. It can be worn alone but be aware that the pale colours (cream and white especially) will show your bra. The red is a lovely colour for blondes! The navy T-shirt I received was a completely different material to all the other colours purchased (mocca, brown, red, white, cream and purple). It was not silky/stretchy material, rather a soft cotton with a bit of give in it.

Love this top , it’s a nice soft material which is good to wear under as layering on colder days or on its own on finer days. Very stretchy I have two (navy & purple) but will be ordering more in different colours !!! Fits very well & item is as it is on screen. The price is definitely not to be sniffed at (everyone loves a bargain) which is why I Would recommend both seller and product. Very happy customer thank you very much 😀

I did not know how many stars to give this top because it is a really lovely top I liked the colour and it seems well made. Now for the BUT, it is way too small. I would normally order a 18 but decided to go for the size up (20/22) to give me a bit of room. Soon as I took it out of the packaging I knew it was to small. Though, will try it on mightbe stretchy. Not a chance. It was marked up as a 20/22 which should fit bust size 46ins. Only measured up to a 36ins. So like many people can't be bothered to send it back as only cheap and will end up in the charity box. Should have know for the price something would be wrong with it. Pity as a nice top.
