Wish I could award it 10 stars
I would make it compulsory reading for all 18 year olds. Funny, powerful and brilliant read from someone worth listening to. Forget National Service make the youth of today read this first and then decide.Cannot recommend highly enough.

Entertaining and informative
Kisin's descriptions of the country of his birth evoke an Orwellian nightmare. With this background he is very well qualified to sing the praises of his new homeland.Among the serious political commentary there is some incredible humour. This is a great read.

Thoroughly Enjoyed
Can’t imagine those in opposition to the subjects covered will give this much attention, but if you’re interested in the discussion, it’s a great book. A great mix of facts, humour, and opinion all through the lens of ‘lived experience’, and a youthful stance. Straight forward, and barely any ‘fat’ to it. Enjoyed pretty much every page. Very witty at stages, and I enjoyed the way he ties it all together in the last chapter.

A reminder to value what we have
An interesting perspective that is well justified and backed with examples. Kisin writes with humour and delivers in a relatable, easy to read text. His views are stated bravely and directly, mimicking how it should be in western societies. A mirror to many shared frustrations about what is happening in Britain and the West today. As a fellow immigrant, whose children are first generation British, I share his frustrations over this hell-bent mind set that will destroy all the reasons I came to this beautiful country. 💔

Brilliant
It's sad that so much common sense needs to be written down and published, but it really does. Great insight, clearly communicated. Great podcast/substack too.

Clever - must read, especially for spoiled Gen Zs!
Well structured funny book, the voice over with Konstantin himself is a treat. I made book mandatory :-) read for my spoiled teenager daughter, now I’m spreading this across my nephews…

Must read book
Everyone should read this book and rather than having a go at the UK should give thanks for what we have in this country.

Great read
In depth discussion of why the main stream media are publishing the articles we currently are reading. I am very grateful for Konstantin writing this excellent book.

Whatever your political viewpoint, Konstantin's discussion of Western civilization's pros and cons is worth considering. Easy read, thoughtful arguments, clever and humorous.

NOT AS GOOD AS HIS SPEECHES, BUT NEVERTHESS WORTH READING
I bought this book because I came to know its author Konstantin Kissin from his videos I found on You Tube. He is an excellent speaker and builds and presents his arguments and ideas in a very engaging and interesting way. The book unfortunately is not as interesting and engaging because it is practically a written version of his talks and debates which does not match the written format of a book. Moreover, some of the issues he engages with in the book result quite blurry and convoluted and therefore leave a bit to desire. Nevetheless, it is worth reading. I suggest to those that have never seen him in a debate or talk to watch some of his videos before and after reading the book.

A must on every bookshelf
What a relief to find such an insightful, informed and opportune defence of the west. If you have any misgivings about the direction of travel in which we are being steered by “wokeism,” this book is a must read. I would also suggest that it be included on the bookshelves of children at home and at school to encourage critical thinking among the young (and old!). Despite a serious undertone this book has amusing passages and is a totally captivating. Thoroughly recommended.
