I love hair care, but I also love affordability. So after the night I paid $31 for 4 fluid oz of product, my first thought was "What a stupid purchase."But I needed something to help my hair! I'm having the problem I did back in middle school- I can't get my bangs or the flyaways next to my ears to grow out. The hair in those areas is just breaking way too easily, to the extent where I can't successfully grow it out. It was very discouraging because I've spent a year growing my hair out, but those areas did not grow with the rest of my hair. If I straighten those areas EVEN ONCE it takes 80% of the length off. (Tip from a lesson learned the hard way- turn the heat on your hair irons way down for any areas where your hair is thinner.)Anyways, I got the product last night and tried it out specifically on the problem areas and the ends. I was amazed when I felt the results this morning. Not only were the areas I tried it out on softer, my hair as a whole felt softer and more resilient. I do feel like my hair is stronger. I can't prove it quite yet, cuz that will take time. But I know I will be buying this product again because it made my hair and scalp feel that much better. <3

My hair is almost waist length, and it is 80% white (I am a gramma). Some natural color remains. It is 2A or 2B. It is also porous to a fault. I usually have to follow natural hair care advice, as it seems people with natural hair are the only ones who experience the same issues I do: dryness, breakage, straw feels. My entire life, I have never been able to grow my hair this long, as it would break off around the bottom of my shoulder blades.I shampoo based on my scalp, which ends up being five days apart, ideally. The problem is that by the end of the second day, the bottom eight inches of my hair are drying out, no matter what. I pre-poo, shampoo and condition, and post-poo with really good products. I even add marula oil into my conditioner, which helps a lot. I seal with jojoba. Still, my hair dries out.Lately, though, when I get ready for bed, I dampen the bottom half of my hair, and I massage in a small amount of this Living Proof mixed with some marula or jojoba, depending on how my hair feels. Then I put a loose braid up high and sleep with a super soft satin cap. For the first time ever, my hair at the near-waist length is not brittle by shampoo day.Of all the leave-in conditioners I have used--Olaplex, Keranique included--this one seems best suited for a small amount of daily use, without serious buildup. My hair feels soft and less dry. Yes, I can tell there is a product on my hair, but it is so much better than being straw.If anyone feels that this product is sticky, it may be you are not adding water or dampening hair first, or you are using too much. This conditioner, like hair oils, needs water as a carrier to get it under the scales of your hair to where it can go to work. So get that hair a bit wet.If this works for me, someone with awfully porous hair, then it really does aid in slippage and restoring moisture. Consider experimenting with the amount of water or product until you figure out your best ratio.Oh, and the best part is that it washes out well with a good shampoo or pre-poo treatment. My Olaplex 3 still gets in there every time.Wholeheartedly recomment.

Help detangle my hair, makes it easier to manage and stronger

I really like Living Proof’s products and this seems like it’s a good leave in conditioner. It’s lightweight, absorbs, no issues. The only thing is that the fragrance in it is really strong. Enough that it gives me a headache and counteracts any other scents that I am wearing. I won’t buy it again, but I do think it’s good quality.

Really liked this, only needed a small amount for thick hair. Felt really soft afterwards and smelt lovely.

I usually wait a while before I give a product review and with that being said this is what I can say. I would highly recommend to anybody that has dry ends or split ends. You’ve kind of got those ends that aren’t laying down the right way or you can’t control them This product is great for them. Just a few little pumps on my fingertips maybe two pumps and then I just take it around those ends and it’s not sticky or tacky feeling.. It just ends up leaving my hair very soft and silky. Definitely a product I will be buying again and again.

This product is the best product out there. It will last you a long time as you only need a little bit. My hair is past my waist and it only requires a tiny bit to condition my entire length of hair. It leaves my hair very soft shiny and does a good job repairing as much as possible my burned out ends until I am finally able to get them cut off. The rest of the hair it keeps the cortex of the hair shaft soft and healthy.

Takes away my frizz and leaves hair really healthy.
