We seemed to pick it up and after one game everyone knew what was going on.The throwing sticks a quite lightweight and easy to throw, the whole set is of good construction but the wood is unfinished. This meant the sticks pick up the green from the grass almost straight away.Haven't had it that long but think this will be durable enough to last awhile, so overall a good product.

Kubb is an excellent garden game. I'd definitely say it is worth paying a little extra to get the hardwood version as it makes the wood more durable and less likely to get dented.A must buy for outdoor summer activities. If you are looking for a great game to play outdoors, two players or in teams, you will not be disappointed; definitely buy your own Kubbs set. This is our second one as we play this very often every summer; it's a game that can be adapted to all ages by introducing handicaps or using smaller fields for the little ones. This set is excellent overall quality, built with high density wood and comes in a very convenient carrying bag. Some of the throwing cylinders had a slight curvature in our set which might matter for your aim... if you are a better player than us, hence the 4 stars.

This is a Swedish game that I'd first played in Sweden. This game is perfectly recreated. The wood is extremely good quality and comes in a useful carry bag. I like the game which is fun for all the family and comes with instructions. Can be played by 2 people or lots of people! Nothing to dislike - may the best team win. Perfect fun for a summers day.

Great quality item, wood is stylish and all pieces fit back in the bag without too much of a Tetris style challenge. Really good family game simple and fun for everyone to join in with.

A great game for all ages on all surfaces. One of the throwing sticks snapped (on a knot of wood) after two weeks, so I got in touch with the suppliers. They immediately sent me two more sticks. Excellent customer service and no regrets for buying the game, although it isn't cheap - but it's wood.

We love this game and for the most part the set is very good quality, however one of the throwing sticks broke in the second game, it sounded cracked from the first throw and on closer look a small crack was clear which quickly lead to the stick breaking completely. Will wood glue it and hopefully will last a bit longer.

Great quality - feels sturdy. No idea if the set is the correct size for competition Kubb but it's perfect for home/garden use. Great game - easy to play wherever, whenever once you've got the hang of it.
