Happy Mouth Pessoa 3 Ring Shaped Mullen Mouth Bit
I used this bit for the first time today on MacDuff, my 16H thoroughbred. Having reached a new level of fitness, and I only being 5-2 @ 108lbs, was not able to control his enthusiasm at our last cross country showing, almost missed a jump, and barely avoided a speeding ticket. Needless to say, our coach mandated a stronger bit than the French Link Snaffle I'd always ridden him in and suggested this bit. MacDuff was suspicious of it at first but quickly began chewing. We started out on just the first ring and after a brief warm up on the hill we took the same route as our last show. What a difference! MacDuff was responsive and eager but quite under control. No head tossing or resistance. We returned to the barn w/our partnership restored. Thanks for such a wonderful product!
