If you're like me with fake grass in your yard you will love this rake. It is specially designed for artificial turf with several closely spaced short plastic tines as opposed to longer or metal ones which wouldn't rake well or may damage artificial turf. The handle feels has been changed from previous versions and is better designed for heavy raking. There are no instructions included in the box but it's pretty self-explanatory. You unfold and lock the handle to its full length by sliding the grip over the folding joint to reinforce it and it locks in place, as opposed to the older model which telescopes to full length but had a thinner lower half of the handle in order to accomplish. With the new design, both halves of the handle are the same larger thickness. The 51" length is about standard for brooms and yard tools though I wish it were a little longer as the rake head itself is pretty short. The head of the rake snaps into place with a plastic tab. In daily use it works great picking up both small items and large with ease and left the yard looking brand new. This was much easier than with my traditional rake which would leave a lot behind. Highly recommended if you have an artificial turf lawn.

The leaves in my yard are small and crumble when I raked them which made more mess. This rake would work well with larger leaves.

Unlike a traditional lawn rake this one does not rake up the majority of leaves, twigs, and other debris. While it does fluff up the turf, smaller debris remains. For folks over 6’ - 0” you might want to get a product with a longer handle.

This comes in a few pieces that twist together to assemble. Very easy to do and I like that it isn't complicated. The rake part is attached with zip ties that bent a few of the bristles, so maybe it would be better if they could secure the parts together in a different way, but it's not a big deal. The bristles are very sturdy so that's promising in regard to its longevity. Because of how sturdy they are, you don't have to apply a lot of pressure when you are raking it along your turf. Just a light touch will pick up most things and I have found that it has worked well for me so far.

I like the concept but it's too short and I'm only 5'7. Then the lock button ended up being dislodged and stuck inside the handle area. So now when I'm using it, I have to be careful or it would fold. I'll eventually dig it out to try and fix it.

Long handle tools on Amazon seem to all come apart for easy shipping these days, but it makes them less durable with more potential failure points. This rake is working well now for my turf but may be more prone to failure long term compared to a solid handle rake.

Artificial turf is awesome but it does tend to need to be raked occasionally to keepBlades from lying flat. A regular rake gets caught on the tines and base. This rake glides smoothlyThru the turf. I rake one direction and then rake in another direction and it works great!

The media could not be loaded. Unfortunately this didn’t work for our turf with small flowers and pine needles. In the video you can see that the rake isn’t gathering the debris. You can see a pile of needles toward the end of the video, that was gathered with a large, plastic, fan rake. Item was returned without issues.

Got this to obviously brush my artificial grass. I have guineas and kids and my grass was covered in hay and stones. It worked well after I used it correctly. I was pressing really hard and putting hard graft in to it at first and it was taking ages but the softly softer approach works much better and it cleaned my grass up perfectly!!!

It is perfect for as I am not to steady on my feet and it as it helps with my balance when I’m using it

Only used once so far as I've only had the product a week.Seems very sturdy and does the job nicely

Looks great for sweeping artificial grass although it has been too rainy to really test. Quite robust too.

Very effective , easy to use and store away great product , was recommended by my daughter
