SteelSeries 7H Headset (Pc/Mac)

My first impression in-game was 'these are a bit tinny aren't they?' There was no depth to it. Certainly the sounds were clear, it just lacked oomph. Then I realised I had the volume set to minimum but I could still hear everything due to the quality of the sound and the insulation of the muffs.I really can't express how amazing this headset is. I've stuck with the leather pads and they really do drown out noise, with quiet background music I can barely hear my other half talking next to me, certainly can't make out a single word unless sound through the headphones is at absolute minimum.Perhaps not the best headset for music, I had to tweak some mixer settings to get the bass sounding okay but the quality is just astounding. I can hear every crackle of a fire and every resounding note in a footstep, it made my head hurt with the first hour of play from all the additional information thrown in.I'm yet to own them long enough to risk the issues with the connectors in the splits, but the joins themselves feel stable enough to pass and the connectors are basically plates on one side, spring loaded pegs on the other. Pretty difficult to mess that up.Overall I HIGHLY recommend this for gamers who are starting to get serious, or who have a low (but not skimpy!) budget. Feel free to ask questions by commenting.

This product only comes with one 4pin jack plug,meaning if you don't own a splitter,you won't be able to use either the mic or the sound in conjunction with was h other,also steel series won't send out the correct cables or a splitter,forcing you to buy a 3rd party splitter,Wich IMO is absolutely ridiculous.I have owed 2 of these headsets in the past making this what broke the camel's back,and makes me never wanting to but steel series products from here on out,I have totally lost faith in this company.

Great sound quality for the price and really comfortable, the changeable ear covers are a great addition and the leather ones block out a lot of external sound. The only downside to this headset is that it isn't compatible with PS4 (or at least I've had no luck) but aside from that this is a solid purchase.

Thease were actually purchased for my son who tells me they are really good quality and the sound is crisp and clear.....They are not overpriced fancy named type headphones but they are good value for money and do the job very well.He is into Games and web chat and they serve him very well for this along with being great for music as well.They are also a good weight....but not heavy..... and comfortable to wear for long periods with detachable ear pads.Overall value and quality along with performance would be 9/10

A solid product, however it did not contain the cord as advertised. Double check the product upon receiving it for all specified parts and you will have an excellent product.

Amazing headset for such a cheap price. Delivery was fast didn't have to wait more than 4 days. They are top quality, built well, strong and sturdy, sounds are brilliant, Mic is really clear, very comfortable even after long sessions of use but like any other then will hurt after a very long time. Can't Really complain.

I previously had a SteelSeries 5H headset (the original one, I think) which was brilliant. Eventually it broke and I replaced it with this, however I've found this unbearable to wear for much more than an hour at a time.

This is a pretty decent headset with good build quality and sound. I have heard better sound quality in this price range, but this is still not bad for music and movies. It has much better quality than the 5H model, and slightly better than the Siberia v2 model. The Siberia v2 has slightly more bass for music but the 7H is better in games.The mic is fine, no problems, but it is like any okay mic, nothing special. It is quite flexible too.The headset comes with both leather and cloth ear cushions, and an extension cable. The entire cable is braided seems to be good quality and it is detachable, but I am concerned that if you attach/remove it very often then the connector will become loose.The headset has a nice tight fit that gives you good isolation, but this could become uncomfortable if you use it for many hours. Personally it was not a problem for me.

Jetzt haben die 7H bei mir etwa 2 Jahre gehalten. Eigentlich sehr bequeme Kopfhörer. Die austauschbaren Polster finde ich klasse weil ich persönlich hören möchte wenn mich jemand im Büro anspricht. Wer es schalldicht haben will geht das aber auch.Das größte Problem - extrem schlechte Verarbeitung und Haltbarkeit. Es begann damit dass das Plastik am Bügel an den Schächten, wo man den Kopfhörer auseinanderbauen kann angebrochen ist. Das kommt ganz natürlich mit der Zeit wegen der Spannung des Bügels. Führt in letzter Instanz dazu dass eine der Ohrmuscheln stumm bleibt weil die Signalkontakte im Bügel nicht mehr richtig greifen. Das war schon nach so 6 Monaten passiert. Ich habe gegen ein zweites Paar getauscht - gleiches Problem. Erst dann habe ich richtig kapiert woran das lag.Habe den ganzen Kopfhörer dann einfach mit Harz zusammengeklebt. War nicht mehr portabel aber egal - Hauptsache es geht.Jetzt nach zwei Jahren macht der Hörer schon wieder mono. Diesmal liegt es wahrscheinlich am Kabel. Das ist auch so ein Ding - einerseits ist am Hörer eine mikro-USB Büchse was suggeriert dass man das Kabel tauschen kann. Tatsächlich bietet Steelseries keinen Ersatz an. Normale USB Kabel gehen nicht. Das ist irgendwas spezielles, was einerseits USB ist, andererseits 3,5mm Klinke. Tolle Idee, Steelseries!Und komische Geräusch wegen dem Reiben am Kabel hatte ich auch. Daran habe ich mich aber gewöhnt.Wie gesagt, super bequemer Kopfhörer. Deswegen ein Stern. Leider einfach null haltbar.

Kurzfassung:+versteckbares Mikrofon, stört nicht beim Musikhören+Austauschbare Ohrpolster+gute Abschirmung+keine Verminderung des Tragekomforts durch Brille-meiner Meinung nach zu klein geratete Ohrpolster =>-etwas enger Kopfbügel => drückt nach etwa einer Stunde ein wenig-schallübertragendes Kabel (wurde ja schon zur genüge erwähnt, ich finde aber es ist nicht wirklich störend)Der Hauptgrund warum ich das Headset zurückgebe ist, dass ich zu meinem Logitech H360 für 40euro keine klangliche Verbesserung feststellen konnte. Ich wollte ein neues Headset, weil das Logitech nach einer Weile unbequem wird, und dachte mir eigentlich, dass für 50euro mehr, das SteelSeries auch besser klingen sollte, da das meiner Meinung nach nicht der Fall ist werde ich wohl weitersuchen müssen.

Ich bin ziemlich überrascht von der Soundqualität dieser Kopfhörer!Ursprünglich habe ich sie gekauft weil man das Kabel bei Bedarf auswechseln kann, das war bisher immer der Grund ein neues Headset zu kaufen. Aber auch der Rest ist absolut überzeugend.+ stabile und gute Verarbeitung+ sehr guter Klang/Bass+ überraschend gutes Mikrofon+ angenehme Muscheln, je nach Geschmack austauschbar (Leder/Stoff)+ gute Abschirmung- das Kabel übertägt Schall, d. h. wenn man sich bewegt und das Kabel an der Kleidung reibt, hört man auf der linken Ohrmuschel ein Kratzgeräusch, man hört es allerdings nicht wenn man etwas abspielt, bzw. Sound übertragen wird. (Stört mich absolut nicht nach kurzer Eingewöhnungszeit.)~ etwas ungünstig gegliederte Kabelverlängerung*UPDATE* Es ist nun soweit, ich habe einen Kabelbruch. Zwar hab ich bei Amazon oder sonst wo keinen Ersatz gefunden, allerdings habe ich über den Support von Steelseries innerhalb von Sekunden das Ersatzteil bestellen können zu einem Preis von 5€, die fallen an für die Überführungs- und Bearbeitungskosten aus den USA.

Me compré estos auriculares tras probar los SteelSeries Spectrum 5XB que me empezaron a fallar a los dos meses. Los 7H los superan con creces, dan un sonido bastante bueno sobre todo si lo complementas con un decodificador (si lo usas con consolas). Traen dos juegos de almohadillas, unas cerradas y otras semiabiertas, a mí principalmente me gusta más el sonido con las semiabiertas.Se puede desmontar fácilmente para transportarlo y el conector que va a los cascos es mini-usb. El acabado de los materiales y presentación dle producto es bueno. Como pega le pondría el precio, quizás un poco elevado teniendo en cuenta que el mercado puedes encontrar productos de menor precio con prestaciones similares. Como pone en la descripición son para PC y Mac aunque se pueden usar sin problemas para las consolas si tienes alguno de los adaptadores que existen. Yo los utilizo en una Xbox 360 con un adaptador y van de lujo.

Habe das Gerät nach zwei Tagen wieder zurückgeschickt. Grund dafür war das die Abschirmung zwischen Kopfhörer und Mikrofon dermaßen schlecht ist, dass der Kopfhörerton mit aufgenommen wird.Wohlgemerkt bei normaler Lautstärke und aufgesetztem Headset. Teilweise ist dieser Effekt so groß das man meinen könnte man würde über Lautsprecher und nicht über Kopfhörer ausgeben.Nervige Kratzgeräusche an der Kleidung wegen dem Kabel und furchtbar schlechte Sprachqualität (Blecheimer), wie sie bereits schon einmal beanstandet wurden, kann ich ebenfalls nur bestätigen.Alles in allem ist das Headset eine maßlose Enttäuschung und sein Geld nicht wert.

Das mikrofon kann man nicht benutzen weil die dazugehörigen kabel fehlen, echt eine frechheit ein blankes headset rauszuschicken. Es wäre ein super FAIL Geschenk morgen zu Weihnachten gewesen zum glück ist mir das vom gewicht und einfaches ansehen schon aufgefallen das da was nicht stimmt

Los tengo desde hace tiempo y van perfectos. Materiales de muy buena calidad, y con todos los accesorios necesarios ya incluidos.Muy buena calidad de audio, micro retráctil, control de volumen y micro en el cable...lo habitual en este tipo de auriculares.

Wer ein richtig geiles "Gaming Headset" braucht, ist hier sicherlich nicht falsch!Das Headset bietet mit den 2 unterschiedlichen Ohrmuscheln (Leder + Schaumstoff) hervorragende Lärmdämmung.Die Schaumstoff Ohrpolster eignen sich zum Musik hören und für längeres tragen des Headsets, da sie angenehmer zu tragen sind.- leichtes Kratzen wenn das Kabel am Kleidungsstück reibt.- sonst hab ich nichts negatives festgestellt!+ perfekte Lärmdämmung (man kann sich komplett auf's Zocken konzentrieren!+ der Bass ist richtig geil zum Musik hören+ perfekte Gegnerortung!!! Dieses Headset hat einen guten Klang, eine sehr schönen Passform und einen angenehmen Sitz, es umfasst die Ohren komplett und ist nahe zu Noise-cancelling, die Kabellänge ist ausreichen um am PC zu sitzen für die Distanz einer Konsole bis zur Couch wird es eng. Aber ein sehr schönes Produkt welches weiter zu empfehlen ist.

Cumple muy bien con lo que necesito. Se adapta muy bien, son muy anatomicos, suelo tener problemas con las gafas y estos no me molestan.

Eran para regalar a mi hijo y ha quedado encantado con ellos. Bien construidos y sensación de calidad. Buen sonido y confortables.

Very good quality for gaming ok for music, however sound is tuned for games. Unit arrived well packaged and within delivery time.
