Excellent Deal
Best $12 i spent on Amazon in years. Solid knife for the money. Surprisingly good quality at this price point. Sheath is well made. Can carry vertically or horizontally. Retention is good BUT it does NOT lock the knife down. This can be fixed relatively easy. All in all I give this knife and sheath 5 Stars.

This knife has potential!
I saw this knife at a cheap price with mixed reviews and figured I’d take a chance . Upon arrival any feelings of potential regret vanished. It’s kinda a diamond in the rough. It has a 3.7 mm blade thickness which I think is a pretty good sweet spot for a 5”blade .it has a medium saber grind potentially but badly hollow grind which seems sturdy enough. The actual cutting edge was ground well but on the blunt side of edges. So I changed the edge with a file then a wet stone and honed and stripped it now it shaves and is very capable with wood as well.i also stripped the paint off. The handle is actually a nice to the touch micarta I did soften the edges with some sand paper. As far as the blade steel goes they claim it’s 1095 and it’s quite possibly is it went well with the file and was slow with the stone so I think it has reasonable hardness. The sheath is neither here nor there medium quality a very tight fit for the knife that should get better in time. So my final thoughts are that with a little time and effort this thing is awesome I love it. And it’s bad ass affordable bush crafting knife and for newbie’s a great knife to learn how to customize some features. So what are you waiting for you know what to.

Great knife, above average sheath
I have to say, the no name brand knives coming out of Asia are getting far better than their price tags would suggest. I bought this one on a whim and it's a solid knife. The sheath is good as well, I am just picky on my leather work. Most people will find it works well for them. If you are looking for a solid outdoor knife and don't want to break the bank, try this one out.

Probably one of the poorest quality knives I have ever purchased.
This knife is clearly handmade. which is a good thing but not when done so poorly as this. the rear bevel is so incredibly uneven that is looks like they just quickly pushed the blade into a grinding wheel, the handle scales are nowhere near the same thickness or even shaped the same. one is rounded on the corners and one just has the corners smoothed out. the blade had a large flat spot near the tip of the blade that it caused the tip to curve. the edge is so dull I could saw on my hand and it doesn't cut. and the blade has a bend near the tip. for the cost, I didn't expect perfection, but this is such poor workmanship that I don't even feel the need to give it a chance. I will need to spend hours just to form a proper edge on the blade to make it usable. I would never recommend this knife for anyone for any reason. absolute garbage.

Very thinly ground
Okay this has a extremely thin hollow grind it's as thin a razor blade over half of the blade. Tip is just as thin! For this kind of knife it will fail. It also came with some rust spots. The only purpose is maybe skinning but it's not shaped for that really. If it was a saber grind or flat it would be a tactical utility knife like it shape suggest. Save yourself from a buyers remorse and keep looking

Great knife for thr money, but sheath design needs improved.
Nide blade design. Came from the box sharp enough to cut, but needed some sharpening to cut paper. Sheath needs a retension strap for scout carry or you could lose your knife. Fits great in the hand and good balance. Would have been a 5 if the blade was razor sharp and the Sheath had a better design.
