Well Received Gift
I bought this as a gift for a colleague that I got for 'Secret Santa' at work. Knowing that he is interested in art and learning to speak Japanese I thought this would be a nice gift for him. He liked it very much.

Buy it!
Superb images. I love that the text has Japanese script, Romanised Japanese and English Translation; it helped my attempts at learning Japanese whilst enjoying the feast of Haiku and art.

Purchased as a present for someone
This book is still sealed up, it is a present for someone. I chose it because of the illustrations and of course, the poems.

Excellant
Very thought provoking poetry. Sometimes the art can go hand in hand with the poetry, other times it may feel like it gets you an image that is not quite meant for the poem. However, it does compliment it in a beautiful format. It includes the original text, and translations to English. Only thing that doesn't make it 5 stars for me is that it is a bit thin, and not as much bang for your buck. Also, it would be nice but not essential to have a more formal teaching introduction on how to decipher and reveal deeper meaning from such short poems.
