Is it expensive, yeah. Is it worth it? Yeah. Still the gold standard and leading the pack for me in the Gel X nail class. Even if on the price side, it’s still cheaper than a new set every 3-4 weeks. So, spend the money, if you’re a serious DIY nail-ie and will doing regular applications, you’ll save in the long run. If you want to get something that’s still soft gel and don’t care much about quality & durability for a more cost friendly product or are an occasional user, there’s other stuff out there. Just check the product information for the material used, because tons of companies advertise regular ABS nails as soft gel / Gel X and if it’s made from ABS it is NOT the same.

I would like to start off saying that this was my very first attempt at doing my own nails with tips and gel x nails. I was determined to make this work and with more practice I’ll get better at it. But for my first time I don’t think it came out too bad.I was spending wayyyy too much money (and time) going to the nail salon every couple weeks and it would be about $100 or more especially if I was getting my toes done too. I figured i would try the gel x nails myself to try to save myself some money and then I can do them however I want myself. With patience and practice over time the result will be better.I would reccomend these nails and the nail extender glue and also you should look up YouTube videos on how to do the gel x nails because it’ll help a lot! That’s what I did and followed step by step . It is a bit confusing at first because there’s different liquids/primer/dehydrator, etc. but once you know the process it’ll be quicker and easier. The pink color I used is shown in the image and is from a different brand. If you’re looking to save some money at the nail salon I would def recommend trying these out!

I really do love the length and shape of these and the way the fit nice and secure, my only con is I like long nails but I have to cut the nails short in order to work because wearing them at full length if I go to pick up something heavy that my nails may press into, the like to bend. But other than that I love them!

I love how easy they are to apply but unfortunately they do not last more than a week. The sides lift after a week which sucks but I can’t complain doing them myself.

Fast delivery but they are super thin and they bend so easily without filling them.
