Helps control my nocturnal seizures
I deal with horrible anxiety and I've never used Kava to treat it, so this is a new experience for me. I initially liked the idea of receiving "calming effects" from eating a lollipop, so I was all in at that point.Within the first few minutes, the sucker tasted sweet and fruity, but it wasn't long before it started to remind me of a coughdrop. Well, that was fine, but it's when my mouth started to get numb that I began to not like the sucker anymore. It reminded me of the numbing solution that the dentist gives you right before treatment. I do not like my mouth and throat to feel numb at all! If anything it causes me more anxiety. I went ahead and continued to finish the sucker. I was really hoping to receive some type of anti-anxiety relief/calming effect, but nothing really happened. It wasn't until about 45 minutes later that started feeling somewhat relaxed. I wasn't sure if it had been due to me being tired or if it had something to do with the sucker. Then something even more amazing occurred!! I didn't get my normal night seizure. I could tell that it was doing something positive to my central nervous system, so this was amazing!!!! I do not take any meds for seizures, so this is a great alternative to that. My opinion of these suckers drastically changed over the course of an hour. I went from highly disliking the numbing effect to, "it's truly helping me sleep without a night seizure." I don't mind a little numbness if it helps me in other ways.So far they have helped to calm, relax, and get my nocturnal seizure under control. Also, If you have any type of mouth pain, you may find some relief by grabbing one of these suckers.I wished there were more than just 6 suckers per package.

Works but pricey
Jungle Kava Co Kava suckers 50 mg 6 count. I tried these after a stressful day at work to unwind. I’ve never had Kava before so maybe I should’ve started with the gummies lol but these lollipops were a nice introduction. They helped take the edge off/mellow my social anxiety and agitation. I did feel more relaxed after eating one. I tried it before bed and fell asleep shortly after and had a nice long sleep. I was pretty tired already so I’m not sure if it was a contributing factor or not.As for the flavor, I liked the Otai/Watermelon taste. These ARE pretty bitter and my mouth was numb when I finished it. Hubby tried one as well and he said they taste like medicine but it did help him calm down a little.Overall, if you have bad anxiety I think these are a healthy, non-addictive option to help find some relief. I would keep in mind Kava can cause drug interactions so double check your personal medications before taking, fyi. I’m pretty sensitive and I didn’t experience any allergic/negative reactions so I’ll probably keep an eye out for more Kava products in the future. I’m not a huge fan of the bitterness but if it helps my anxiety it’s worth it.

Honestly for the quantity plus the the price this isn’t a good deal it tastes good but for 2$ a lollypop at low potency where it barely numbs my tongue. I don’t see it being worth it. I prefer cava candy, you get more and their candy is made of stronger extract.

Tasty Kava Sucker
I ordered these for my sister because she's going through a high stress situation that's led to a lot of anxiety. She loves them! She reports that the blood orange flavor is tasty and reminds her of dumdum suckers she had as a kid. She said that she felt calmer within a half hour of finishing the sucker. I'm really that she was able to find something that could help her through this difficult season of life.

Any kavalactones? Enough to tingle your tongue but that’s it.
Didn’t feel a difference at all. Didn’t help my anxiety. I’ve used kava in the past, and this didn’t feel like it had any kavalactones in it.

Works great
This was my first time trying these suckers and I have to say they really do work at calming your down. I felt so relaxed after eating one and I do like the watermelon taste. It does have a kinda bad aftertaste and a numbing like feeling in your mouth but the watermelon taste really good so I couldn’t stop eating it lol. These helped me rest better and even calmed my nerves down. I will definitely be trying these more often lol. Would Recommend!!

Reasonable taste, noticed an effect within an hour
This is my first try of kava (in any form). I take occasional meds for anxiety and I thought it would be worth it to give this product a shot. To be honest, I was hesitant about how it might work (or rather, I suspected that it wouldn’t). The initial taste is sweet orange… in fact, the initial taste reminded me of the dum dum suckers you used to get after a doctor visit! But that initial sweetness only lasted a couple of minutes. Then a bitterness crept in… it wasn’t overwhelming and the sweet orange flavor still came through but there was a bitterness layered over top of it. I took my time with the first sucker and finished it in maybe 25-30 minutes. I was ‘on edge’ prior to the sucker, and upon finishing it I didn’t really feel any different. But about 30 minutes or so afterwards I felt noticeably more at ease… not woozy, lightheaded, dizzy, or anything like that… it was more that the ‘edge’ of my mood had been taken off, leaving me with a sense of calmness. I guess I would say that in summary I was a little surprised, and definitely pleased with the effect.

Did not get good Kava effects
I experienced the mouth tingling/numbness but did not recognize increased relaxation or decrease in anxiety. Was hoping after the first night this would change, but still nothing. Did not help with insomnia. The taste is good at first, then it becomes bitter, but it isn’t intolerable. I think I’ll order one of the drinks to see if they work better.
