This product does not work! The lights come on, but it doesn't scare deer away. Deer's walk in front of it and all around it, eating the plants. It's as if this product is just in the way. It does not work! Very disappointed.

I am disappointed to see that this item is no longer available. I purchased this item 3 months ago in April, and it has worked perfectly since the day I put it in the ground. Squirrels no longer stick around to devour my blackberries, and I have seen 2 raccoons make a u-turn in mid-stride. The solar rechargeable batteries obviously are getting recharged as needed, and I was planning to purchase another unit for the front garden. I can't understand why other verified purchasers seem to be having such difficulties unless they are not following the instructions for placement of the unit.

3 weeks in use and one of the device stopped working. Customer service please replace or send one device.

Most of these reviews have nothing to do with this product and are skewing the rating result. Should be a -1 rating. This device (to repel squirrels, raccoons, etc.) is of utterly no value. Within one minute of setting it up I had three squirrels sitting right in front of it with the light flashing and making its ultrasonic sound. They were happily eating bird seed. Raccoon's still came to the feeder in droves. My dog would walk right up to the device smelling all the animals that had come in and could care less about the light and sound. Save your money, put baffles on your feeders.

I was so hopeful that this would detour the wildlife outside my window and in my yard, but to no avail it hasn't worked for me. This unit is also very sensitive as it goes off when there is something in my neighbor's yard too. Flashing lights and high-pitched noise. There is no way to turn the lights on separately from the high-pitched noise. This means at night, the lights will start flashing if it senses something. Kinda makes your house look odd with blinking lights, depending on where it's located.

The media could not be loaded.  2nd unit like this I have used. First one different maker, lasted 3 years, and was more expensive. We'll see how long this one lasts!

Last summer I was bombarded with armadillos and opossums digging in my flowerbeds causing havoc to the plants and me! Hopefully this will be just the deterrent I need to have a happier summer with happy flowerbeds!

The item worked for 2 days and then quit working altogether. I have tried moving it to different locations. It will turn on and work for 10 seconds and then it quits. I was out of town for over 3 weeks when it arrived and did not get it installed until a few days after I got back. I am so disappointed in Amazon. They say it is outside of the return window. That is not the best customer service in my book. Buyer beware on this product
