Size issues. Clogs the nozzle.
I have used about every filament out there and this is by far the best PLA I have ever printed with. I am reviewing the black PLA from NovaMaker. It came sealed with desiccant in a nice box and the spool was nice as well. There is no popping when printing which means it was nice and dry. It sticks to the build plate very well and the prints are incredibly strong. It also bridges very, very well, with minimal stringing. You really can't beat this filament for the price.**** Update - I have revised my review to 2 stars after getting about a quarter of the way into the roll. I am having nothing but issues with jamming now and upon measuring the filament with my calipers the range is all over the place. Some sections are right on 1.75mm but then a few mm away goes up to 2.0mm! This is what is causing my jamming. I have wasted so much filament by trying to cut away the inconsistent sections and thinking its ok to print again just to jam part way in. This is a real shame as this filament is nice and dry and has really nice melting properties. If they could fix their size consistency issues I would try it again.**** Update 2 - When I changed filament to one of my other know good rolls I notice I couldn't prime the nozzle as it was clogged again from my last printing attempt. I tried everything to unjam it with no luck.I actually had to disassemble my hot end and replace the throat and nozzle it was so clogged. I have heard of this happening before but never had it happen to me until now.

Do Not Hesitate!
I've been 3D printing for 18 months now and have gone through probably 20 spools of PLA. I had one bad experience with an "off brand" and have stuck with the big name PLA since... until now. I couldn't resist the extremely competitive price of this PLA and decided I would give it a try. I am very pleased that I did. From the two photos you can see it works exactly as it should, especially the 1st photo which shows how well the bottom layer is printing. I did not have to adjust my extruder temperature, or my bed temperature which was a huge plus.I'm very pleased that I'm going to be saving so much with my future PLA purchases!

Really nice filament
I really wanted to come on here and bash this filament for purely selfish reasons...Amazon sent me the wrong color, and it delayed a print I was doing. Selfish right?...anyway, a few months have passed, and I finally got to using the white PLA from NovaMaker.I have to say that I am really pleased with this filament. The prints I have done so far have been really strong, and there is far less "oozng" than with the other white filament I tried before. The color is great, and it just prints well if you take a few minutes and make a test print to calibrate the temperature.I'm trying to think of a con here, but I honestly haven't found one. Does it print as well as some of the "premium" filaments that cost over twice as much? maybe...I haven't tried enough of them to say. Does it print as well as, or better than, any of the "budget" filaments out there? Absolutely. I used to be a fan of Hatchbox, but this may have me converted. This spool has just been way more reliable than the spool of Hatchbox white that I used.To be fair, I have only tried one spool, and maybe I got the exceptional case, but so far so good. I would like to try the black that I originally ordered. If I do get around to that, I will update this post.

Very smooth prints but the roll I got was garbage (breaks all the time)
So far I'm getting great layer adhesion, very smooth prints, and consistent extrusion... I'm printing at 215º with a 55º bed using and TH3D print surface and prints stick to the bed almost too well.. but the roll I got recently was GARBAGE... the filament breaks if you just look at it... I use a Bowden-fed, direct-drive extruder and sometimes the filament breaks inside the Bowden, so the filament sensor doesn’t know there’s a break but the extruder isn’t pulling anything... I’ll come back to a print after 6 hours and find that nothing even dot laid down after the first few layers

Extremely brittle
Unfortunately, all three roles of Nova filament I've purchased, were incredibly wet. While sealed, they must have been packaged while wet. Making all three roles extremely brittle, difficult to print, and frustrating. When It did print without breaking, the prints were fine. However in order to be useful, all three roles required drying in a oven at low temps for several hours.I expect this from Nylons, PETG, many other plastics, Ive never experienced this from a PLA right out of the box.The price was nice, but clearly to nice.

Terrible printer clogging. Twice!
I had to tear my printer apart and put a whole new extruder head on, plus it ruined my bowden tube. Check out my photo, you can see that glob of PLA stuck in the tube. It's impossible to get out without cutting the bowden tube down. This happened twice, in back to back print. I have an ender-3 that I've been running for 2 years now and I've never once had this happened with other PLA that I've used. Use at your own risk.

Extremely brittle compared to any other color
This crap is WAY too brittle. No other filament of theirs performs so poorly. It does print well at 20 degrees cooler than any of their other filaments. Even then, it strings even after a nozzle change. It breaks on the spool, it breaks when it’s in the Bowden tube, it breaks once it’s printed as if it were made it spun sugar. I love their other color filaments, but this garbage is to be avoided.

Be wary it may have absorbed too much moisture on the shelf already and you may have to dry it
I have purchased PLA under 3 different names. The white material from Monoprice was by far the best printing filament yet but this material appears as though it was on the shelf for a long time. It was so wet that the prints are unusable. In a hope to save the rest of the spool I bought a food dehydrator but this should not be necessary in a brand new spool. Admittedly I have little experience with my new printer but I have done an awful lot of research and everything I have found would suggest that the material has absorbed too much moisture. I will add to this post after I dry and reprint a couple models
