It does have remote display with it?

Yes. There is a remote display attached to the unit with a ten foot cord. I place my Chrony on a tripod the proper distance from my muzzle (as described in the manual). Then stretch the cord to my bench rest. I shoot then record the results. The "Manual" is not very good, it doesn't tell you much. tip: replace the aluminum screen supports with wooden Dowels. This way if you accidently hit one, it doesn't hurt the unit.

my crony f-1 red will not show any speeds

will this unit work if there is no sunlight? also is there a Chrony that is less than .5 percent accuracy made by this brand?

John Brandt. Not sure if this unit will work with the complete absence of light but I have shot through during sunrise. It was not completely dark but it did register the shot. No idea if there's a unit that touts 0.5% accuracy.
