Hello,I can’t log into RouterOS v7.8 using the default password, and after hardware resetting the router I can’t use the default login. Until this problem is sorted, I can’t configure

I tried to use MikroTik for several months. Here are the general outcomes:1. The WiFi signal is extremely weak. The provider's router was able to reach the second floor from the ground floor, but the MikroTik was unstable even on the first floor.2. The WiFi roaming feature is faulty. Mobile phones constantly received "SA Query Timeout" errors.3. WiFi 7 isn't even in the plans. Theoretically, it might fix some issues, but practically, it seems better not to use MikroTik for WiFi.4. Configuration isn't simple (which might be ok), however it is because router is unable to report about errors. If your WiFi isn't connected to any bridge (inside router, which is the same with disconnected cable) then router will not say about any warnings: you will just see disconnections on user devices.5. CapsMan is very unreliable: endpoint device constantly looses the connection to it.Summary: don't buy if you plan to use WiFi.

Excellent performance but as usual with mikrotik hardware the documentation is sparse and a moving target(the update to 7.13 changed how capsman and wave2 wifi works) these are great if you're not going to get any deeper than quickset, if you're past that be prepared to spend some time digging and learning how to use it.

Wifi on this is just way better than on other models (tough weaker in specs) I've used (2011, 9xx, hap's...)

Il prodotto è arrivato ben confezionato e nei tempi stabiliti, lo utilizzo da mesi oramai e viene costantemente aggiornato, lo consiglio principalmente ad esperti anche se la wizard per la configurazione potrebbe essere utilizzata da chiunque. Il miglior router che abbia mai avuto e ne ho avuti decisamente parecchi.

La verdad que el router es una pasada. Aguanta lo que le eches (Lo tengo configurado en una casa con mucha domótica, servidor dedicado, 2 NAS y varios ordenadores, TVs, teléfonos, tablets...) y sinceramente, ni se despeina. No le he visto sobrepasar el 5% de uso de CPU ni actualizándose. En el caso de la RAM su consumo apenas son 250Mb. En lo que si está justito es en almacenamiento, pero raro es que se utilice el router como almacenamiento.La configuración a través de WinBox la verdad es que es compleja, incluso utilizando el "asistente", pero una vez que le pillas el punto... es maravilloso. Hay una comunidad gigantesca detrás, con muchísimos scripts para configurar casi lo que se te ocurra (Backups, reinicios, actualizaciones, estc)Recomendadísimo para quitar el router de operadora, pero siempre teniendo en cuenta que hay que tener conocimientos de redes, no vale con "Saber configurar un router".
