Finally! Monica Rambeau as Captain Marvel II!!
I finally got a Monica Rambeau action figure as Captain Marvel II to add to my collection. This lady has been the hardest one to obtain for a long time, especially in her classic design/look. TBH, I only bought the set because of Monica, but having a cape-less Dr. Doom thrown into the mix was forgivable just to finally get a nicely done figure of her. Since they both were a part of the original epic Marvel Secret Wars back in the 80s, I guess it tracks having them together.

Doomsday!!!
With secret wars around the corner this is a must!!! Nostalgia, childhood memories, and lots of fun!! The look is a classic Mattel 80 secret wars homage!! That captures that magic moment of childhood essence, not to mention this captain Marvel!! Just like you read it and enjoy it in the pages of the original secret wars saga!!

Great Sculpts, Great Posability, but...
Like I said, great sculpts, which really do evoke the era both of these figures come from. Frankly there's not a complaint I can make against the figure of Doom, but Captain Marvel's posability suffers because she can barely stand on her own. They got her in high heels, with no hole at the bottom of the shoe to stick a peg in, so you can't even use one of those bases. You need a full stand if you want to put her in any poses.
