I bought the 3 Whistler books on the recommendation of my violin teacher. And they are all brilliant, and an enjoyable way of developing good technique! I'm already seeing the benefit of including these exercises as part of my daily practice.

A little old fashioned but a really good grounding for the positions.

An excellent teaching resource. Exercises are short but challenging allowing you to make real progress. The order of exercises is well thought out. The service was prompt and the book arrived in excellent condition.

After you finish the Whistler Red book of third and fifth positions the next useful book is the Whistler Green book of second, fourth and sixth positions. Each etude helps my students achieve goals and trains fingers well.

ich finde diese Zusammenstellung von Übungen sehr gut: folgerichtig aufgebaut, kurze Einheiten, motivationserhaltend, sehr hilfreich im Ausbau der Fähigkeiten hinsichtlich Lagenspiel und Verständnis der Tonarten. Zuerst Heft 1 üben!

I like the Volume 1, I am not yet good enough to play this yet, but from what I read, it should be similar with different positions.
