The media could not be loaded.  Setup:Setup was extremely easy plug and play. Just forget your previous CarPlay for your phone and use the device for CarPlay. Make sure to allow CarPlay through the mmb box when prompted.Wi-Fi:just make sure to setup your phone as a hotspot and set a password and connect the mmb box to that Wi-Fi in your settings.Bluetooth:Simply connect to the mmb box and pair it was easy to do.CarPlay:All my steering controls work normally with CarPlay and it’s features right out of the box no configuration was needed.YouTube:Works great as intended. The speed on which everything loads depends on your phones internet speed. 5g had no issues and no buffering.Screen:Screen is smooth in everything but however in YouTube you may have to press once or twice to hit the play button. Maybe my fat fingers need to adjust to the screen.Would like to see more information with the manual included.One of my biggest concerns was this working on a new Nissan rogue 2023 sv and it turns out it works great unlike other mmb boxes which are having issues with Nissan. Extremely happy with the purchase and will recommend to friends and family.

The setup was very easy, but the device wouldn't connect to the kenwood head unit in the vehicle. Device was returned to vendor.

First, note that this is my personal experience and opinion however, When I first received the device i was really excited to try it and I initially loved it!! I really liked that I could customize the boot up video and how user friendly the settings menu is! It’s quick to start up which takes approximately 14-18 seconds, and will automatically connect to your iPhone or android no problem! Also, you have the ability to update the device via Wi-Fi so that you can download the current firmware. Now, a few things I didn’t really like about the device is that there are only three apps on the device. YouTube, Netflix and Phone Mirror App. There is no way to add any other apps and there is no App Store within the device you can only use those three apps. Again, for the first few days the YouTube app worked great! After a few days though, the app would not play any video past the 1 minute mark. The app would stay in an endless buffering mode. If you play the next video, it’ll play as normal and stop again at the one minute mark and boot endlessly. As for the Netflix app, it would play movies normally however, it will not play shows with multiple episodes. Netflix will refuse to open or play those shows. I have nothing bad to say about the phone mirroring app, it does exactly that and it works great. This device is good for what it is, a wireless car play and android auto. If you want to do anything else with it, this isn’t the device for you. Again, this is my personal opinion and experience.

Boot up time was about 20 seconds then your phone would connect within about a minute of starting up the vehicle for wireless Android auto... Connecting to Wi-Fi super easy Netflix works but it's a little laggy user interface wise. YouTube works on a second device after help from tech support gets the kids by for a drive. If you need help reach out through Amazon tech seems pretty responsive that way. Cool little side feature if you're using YouTube or Netflix and have your phone paired up for Bluetooth You can hear it playing in the background and control the volume directly from your phone to me it was a saving grace not having to listen to my kids show on the drive. Will do screen mirroring but if using a video app voice to video latency is pretty noticeableFor what it is I definitely use it for longer road trips just not the daily hardwired connection is much faster and more reliableConsDoes not allow casting from Android phone to the outdated software. Using Android Auto wirelessly I could not control the song next track from my steering wheel controls for radio directly had to use my phone to change any song.

The carplay adapter is suitable for those of you who like to watch television or YouTube, this adapter can be used in the car so that your trip will be more enjoyable while watching television or YouTube in the car, you no longer need to use cables, just connect your cellphone to wireless Carplay, besides that , if you don't have internet you can just insert a USB flash drive, this product is also accompanied by a video projection that we can adjust to what we want, I really like this wireless adapter because during the trip I don't get bored and it feels more fun.

This product has great intentions but I wanted to use it for the wireless android auto feature but the processing power is weak on the device making for terrible lag when using maps and android auto. The maps struggle to keep up and therefor its behind on directions or freezes up. When playing music on spotify it will not show the correct artist or song and be stuck on the last one it played before switching way later. Its not worth the money.

By far it’s super essential to your car when you have CarPlay but can’t watch movies and stuff. Sounds is great movie quality depends on your car pixels.
