This product really works. Used it to widen a couple pairs of shoes. Very easy to use.

For years I have dealt with serious issues with shoes, swollen toes, and foot pain. I wear orthotics and find them helpful, but not with these increasingly serious challenges. It has seemed like almost every shoe I've purchased felt great in the store, but left me wincing in pain after an hour or two of wearing them. I have wondered whether a shoe stretcher would really help or which one to purchase. First tried home remedies like using a steamer to stretch them, walking in thick socks to stretch them, putting bags of water in them and freezing them overnight to stretch them. A waste of time—those procedures resulted in no change whatsoever to the shoes. I researched dozens of stretchers online and chose this one because every review was 5-star and it appeared large enough (I wear 9.5 to 10) to be appropriate for my needs. The only drawback—the stretchers arrived with no instructions, so we had to figure out how they worked, but after a few minutes of trial and error we were able to determine how to operate them. I began with some shoes that were less important to me to use them as an experiment. A pair I'd never even worn because my foot issues had begun soon after they were purchased. I left the stretchers in for two days to both lengthen and widen them and used a couple of the bunyon wideners too. The results—perfect fit! Next I took a pair of shoes I had really adored and were now two sizes too small. For two days, I increased the stretch and widening bit by bit. Result—a slightly larger stretch than I had expected, so I learned to evaluate each shoe and determine just what stretch should be best. Even so, wore the second pair of stretched shoes last night for 5 hours with no pain. Incredible! I hadn't been able to put them on in two years. Now I know I can stretch each shoe a little or a lot based on what I need, to start with less, increase bit by bit if more is needed or test them out in between to make sure it's right. The stretches are holding as well. I am thrilled. I'll be able to bring life back to a number of really nice shoes I thought I could never wear again—and my only regret is that I let go of some pairs that were really special in the past because they were too small. I realize now I could have stretched them. But so grateful to know about this product in time to save what I have.

These stretch your shoes not as good as the older wooden ones but do the job needed.

I bought this shoe stretcher with the hope of finally being able to wear my favorite pair of shoes comfortably. Unfortunately, I'm still struggling to figure out how to use it. The instructions are unclear and don't provide enough detail. I've tried several different ways to adjust the stretcher, but I can't seem to get it to fit my shoes properly and get it to function so it stretches the shoe. It's a shame, because the concept of a shoe stretcher is great, but I can't take advantage of it due to the confusing instructions.

Works well. My wife has a few corns and I stretch the toe area perfectly. Just put it in the shoes with the nubs where you need more room, tie the laces, and turn the knobs. I put leather sneakers near the heater to help soften them and let them sit a day or so. Great product.

I just received these a couple days ago, but I felt I needed to drop a quick review about these Tree's. I have bought many styles in my days.....some pretty darn expensive too. We all can see who expensive a single pair of Shoe Tree's can cost. I'm Not looking for Gold Leafed Shoe Tree's, I just want something that works for my money ! So after these popped up on a search and after reading all the nice reviews, I said Why Not ! And boy am I happy I did ! If anyone is looking for a nice, sturdy, well made Shoe Tree that basically takes care of all your needs......look no further, these are the Tree's for you. I wound up buying 2 of them (I will rotate with my other ones) and I gave them a shot right off the bat. Let me tell you....easy, simple to use. And depending where you put the extra attachments for problem needs, you can actually see your Shoe Stretch with each and every turn. I will give my Shoes a couple more days being its only 2 so far, but I can tell just from the Feel.....they will be fitting on my feet alot better along with the Comfort I need. I would def reco these Shoe Tree's. For under $20 bucks, you can go wrong !

Very easy to use, straightforward instructions and they work! I took a pair of shearling lined leather slippers that accidentally ended up in the washing machine. They were allowed to air dry but once they were put back in use they had clearly shrunk. after wetting them and using these shoe stretchers (twice) the slippers are as good as new! This tool is really sturdy, this will do a few generations

Product is as expected and works well. Plastic also works better than wood ones I have used in the past. Advantage of this product is that it includes both bunion "buttons" as well as "top of foot" stretching buttons. Only caution is that if have large feet 14 or bigger then length stretching is limited due to travel of threads. I was concerned that product would not be durable but have not found this to an issue after using product on multiple pairs of shoes in our house. Bag and shoehorn are nice touch and make keeping everything together easier. Would buy again.
