MSI Z790 Tomahawk ddr5 is the best part in building my pc, it have an extreme amount of features and benefits that maximized my productivity and gaming. I would love to refer it to my friends and family.

Works pretty well but the overall rigidity of the motherboard gave me a few scares. Intel 14700k has unstable issues with latest bios work with older bios.

Things I like about this mobo:- Reasonably priced- Good build quality (see note below)- Plenty of USB3 and USB-C ports- BIOS flash button- WIFI 6E supported- 4 onboard M.2 SSD supported with heat sinkThings that I didn't like:- My first mobo was dead on arrival. I wasted a few hours troubleshooting before I confirmed that the motherboard was defective. I contacted Amazon right away and they made it right by sending me a replacement mobo. Put it in and everything powered up as it should. The MSI mobo looks very well build, I think I just had bad luck with my first one.

If you are going to use a 14th gen CPU on this Motherboard, you MUST update the bios before you install the CPU or it will not pass the POST. (power on self test)If like me your starting with a 14th gen CPU and not "upgrading" to one, you need update the bios before even installing anything else.This is copy pasted from the manual.Updating BIOS with Flash BIOS Button1. Please download the latest BIOS file that matches your motherboard model fromthe MSI® website.2. Rename the BIOS file to MSI.ROM, and save it to the root of the USB storage device.3. Connect the power supply to CPU_PWR1 and ATX_PWR1. (No need to install CPUand memory.)4. Plug the USB storage device that contains the MSI.ROM file into the Flash BIOSPort on the rear I/O panel.5. Press the Flash BIOS Button to flash BIOS, and the LED starts flashing.6. The LED will be turned off when the process is completed.This worked out fine for me. It took several minutes to flash the bios this way.

Al principio cuando leí las review de amazon o en foros tenia mis dudas, sin embargo llego todo bien. Solo tienes que actualizar la bios, te recomiendo seguir un buen tutorial. Con respecto a la placa, se ve sólida, muy buenos materiales, y muy elegante.

Works perfectly. So far so good. No problem loading the profiles and drivers.

Me llegó abierta, sin el sello de seguridad de MSI y con un sticker de un perro random; la caja venía manchada por dentro de negro (Debido a golpes que tuvo la tarjeta en sus traslados). Muchos reportaron fallas después del mes, no la compren.
