An absolute MUST
If you own an Airstream, this book is an absolute must have. It breaks down virtually every issue you’re going to encounter in simple, uncomplicated language that is easy to read and understand, even when you’re in a panic. Items are easy to find within the book, so your wife can tell you “I told you so” later, when you didn’t consult the book. I cannot imagine traveling in an Airstream without it. Should be the first thing you buy when you get your trailer.

Good book for Airstream owners or RVers.
Many of the references are for Airstream specific items, but much of the information in this book could apply to any RV. As a newer Airstream owner, we reference the book for each new project or question we have and it either has the answer or tells us where to find the information or parts needed.

Our essential tool for understanding our Airstream's Systems
We needed this book, as we decided to dive into the purchase of a vintage 1970 Airstream for our family to travel in! This book is designed for anyone new to travel trailers, or like us, longtime travel trailer campers who are upgrading to a larger camper with holding tanks, a bathroom, and a double axel! It was extremely helpful to have on hand while looking the used vintage camper over, we understood the various systems better, including the freshwater holding tank, black water tank, 12 volt electric system, refrigerator inspection(can it make ice?), and trailer electric brakes, to name a few. I was able to create a checklist of the systems, and understood tools we might need to assess our vintage camper because of this book. It fits nicely with our Airstream manuals, and flipped nicely open (and stays open) because of the wire binding along the edge. My favorite part is the graphic design of the cover, which fits in perfectly with the vintage design in our camper. We will use it for years to come.

Lots of good info!
I would have given it five stars if it had not been placed inside the covers backward. (The back cover of the book is in the front, and the front cover is in the back.) Otherwise, it’s a great book for Airstream newbies!

Very Good Reference for Airstream Owners
I bought the book because Airstream was selling it on their website and thought it must be worthwhile. It is. It gives a concise view for most models covering operation, maintenance and repairs. Some of it may seem too basic for long time RV owners, but other sections explain the variations of models that can often be frustrating to a new Airstream owner.

Excellent book for all Airstream owners
This book, as stated, is a really good companion to Newbies Guide To Airstreaming. This book provides details on many aspects of the Airstream, including suggestions on potential various products to use. This will definitely be helpful for us new Airstream owners and I would imagine is something that my wife and I will keep around for years to come. I can see us using this book as a nice reference guide when something goes wrong or when we are looking to upgrade something like the floor, it will be very helpful for ideas and suggestions on how to fix those things or hints on what might be challenges or struggles when performing those upgrades.

Never had a "wow" moment
Pretty basic stuff. New to Airstreams, but I owned a German car repair shop for 40 years, so I can usually figure things out. There were some helpful tips that I didn't know about. I was waiting for a "wow" moment and it never came. Worth the money, but I was hoping for more.

Wonderful helpful book!
We bought our first trailer, an Airstream 27' Serenity in 4/2016 and love it. We pamper it and are preparing it for winter, after 6,400 miles and 43 road trip nights using it. AS included the 'beginners guide book with the trailer and it has given us very helpful information. I bought this maintenance book to learn more. I'm reading it as a book and have learned a great deal. How to clean things inside and out, the items that should be lubricated, how to winterize, mistakes to avoid, and so on. This is a very valuable asset and well worth the price. All owners who care about their trailer should have this book. Actually, even though it is AS specific, I was thinking this is applicable for non-AS trailers too.
