After reading reviews of various types of these tablets, I decided on this one. It arrived very quickly and comes with a decent felt bag. The 10 inch size refers to the diagonal of the screen which is actually 26 cm.The writing on the screen is green and not blindingly bright but is certainly good enough and clear enough in any light conditions in which you might want to read it and is perfectly legible and not fuzzy.Only very light pressure is needed to write on this with the plastic pen provided and light pressure makes a line about half a millimetre wide. With slightly more pressure, similar to what you would use with a fountain pen, you get a line about 1.5 mm wide.The erase button gives a positive click and instantly erases the whole screen. The lock switch is perfectly satisfactory. There is a small hole in the corner of the pad for the elastic provided to attach the pen but I do not use this.To attach the elastic through the whole, just push a loop of thread through the whole, then around the elastic, and then pull it through.I bought this for writing Japanese characters which need variable width strokes and it works very well.Some commenters seemed disappointed that it does not have a USB connection but it is not designed for this, it is simply an electric screen notepad.As such, it works very well and is thin, light, and easy to use. The more I use it, the more Like it!

I bought one of these for my Granddaughter, who is a budding artist, and she has used this constantly to practice sketching before she puts pencil to paper. Practicing lines, dimensions, shapes and shading has made her use of paper much more practical and economical. Her drawings have improved dramatically. She plays with it with her sister too, writing messages to each other, noughts and crosses, hangman etc. They love this so much that they fight over it, so I've bought another so they can both have one.The screen size is great, large enough to draw pictures, make notes etc. The carry case is perfect to keep the tablet safe when not in use which is why I chose this one; perfect for children.The hole for pushing the elastic through IS small and took me a couple of minutes to push the elastic through, but not impossible with a piece of looped wire like a needle threader.The lock screen function is great for making sure they don't erase anything until they are ready. :o)I would definitely recommend this tablet and think I might buy one for myself...

We got two of these pads for 2 young ladies that have to endure lengthy car trips abroad with a certain frequency. This will keep them occupied. The pads, look somewhat slick and are quite lightweight so it’s easy to pack and carry for children. Moreover at home they seem to save a lot of paper - the rainforest must be pleased as well. So far I’m not too impressed with the art produced on it but that might have to do with the skill of the artists.The pads work well and the display is very bright. The youngest one 5-year old typically gets lost in her drawing which tends to provides us with 20 to 30 minute of peace and quiet. It’s the same with these pads. And her drawings are visibly improving and so do her writing attempts… as such the pad in general helps with drawing shapes and further supports her motoring skills. The oldest girl uses it mostly for her ‘fashion designs’ .I can see these pads being used in the office or at school as well.Comes with a felt case/sleeve and a stylus pen. The pads are battery powered and require a 3.0V/210mAh Button Cell battery (that is replaceable) and that apparently allows for 15000 erases.So far all the good.First of all, I got an lengthy email from the seller regarding issues that I might come across using these drawing pads.. like how they lack USB functionality to save the art. And more disturbingly, about the errors that might occur.So that brings me to the second point; yes, there is some functionality to lock a screen to preserve your drawing, but the pad has no Bluetooth/save/USB ports functions to send the creative outbursts to other devices. Therefore we feel obliged to take a picture with our Iphone whenever one of the girls feels she has created a work of art that needs to be preserved for posterity.Lastly, as the accompanying email says; avoid rough handling. These are lightweight plastic devices. And I wonder how long they last as a toy for kids. I guess we are okay as we mostly use them in the car. But it might not be as sturdy as most other electronic devices these days.Despite these issues these are nice gadgets for creative kids.But much cheaper drawing apps on your Ipad, if you got one available for your kids, gets you the same if not much more functionality.

Saw one of these recently have to say it is great even for adults , the device is very thin and i am not sure how long it will stand up to being bashed around by a 5 year old however it seems quite tough , dead simple to use , no inputs or outputs just the pen and press the button to erase the display , great for doing letters and number teaching

I'm happy with this product, good size, easy to read, better than some cheaper ones. Also comes with a felt case for protection. You can attach the stylus to the board with a supplied cord. It would be nice to have somewhere that the stylus clips onto rather than just hanging there. I would also like to be able to partially delete but you only have the option to delete everything. As I only use it for a to do list, I'm happy enough to score out.

The item looks like it has more than 1 colour on the screen on the product pictures, but has only one colour what I would describe as a murky dull colour not bright and vibrant! I bought it as an extra present for a 6 year old expecting a bright colour on the drawing surface not a dull single colour. Also I must add that unlike most other makes this does not have a place to put the pen so not so great!

Well worth the bargain price. Excellent for sketching ideas and my son also uses it for workings out for his school work.Even comes in a nice protective sleeve to keep it in when not in use. Love it 😊

Bonne tablette pour un enfant qui apprend à écrire ça évite le gâchis de papier , par contre à ce prix légèrement plus lumineux sa serait top et un crayon plus large pour les dessins .Qualité ok solide dans la limite du raisonnable tablette fine
