Replacement Electric Hand Saw Blade Combo Set, Compatible for Black+Decker SC500/PHS550B Navigator Saw, Wood Metal Plastic Cutting Blade 3-Piece

Fits my original equipment.

Used these for my B&D electric saw and results were in line with my B&D blades. I did notice the teeth on these have a different pattern but they completed my project without any issues.

Years ago my wife bought me the Black and Decker Navigator saw. I have used this on countless projects. Even though I now own a reciprocating saw, the navigator remains my “go to” tool of choice. In comparing these replacement blades with the OEM blades, I notice that the teeth spacing on the wood blade is greater on this replacement, 8 teeth per inch vs 11 teeth per inch on the manufacturer’s blade. The other two blades appear similar. Now I am ready for my next project.

Black and Decker sells a similar package for about 25% more, so I'll compare the two.Comparison- Overall, the packages are quite similar with a long wood blade for cutting lumber, a short metal cutting blade, and a short wood blade that can be used for cutting curves. The B&D blades are bare metal, and this brand's are black painted.- These fit just like OEM, and the blade sizes are very close to OEM.- This brand's wood blade has more aggressive teeth, so cuts through wood faster. The tradeoff is that you'll need to do a little more filing of a rougher edge if the edge is exposed and you want it to look nice. The blade also seems to be made of slightly more flexible metal, but only slightly.- This brand's metal cutting blade also has slightly more aggressive teeth, which for metal, can be a very good thing as it usually take a while to cut metal. The blade is also a little sturdier than OEM with a little bit less flex.- This brand's "jigsaw" blade again has more aggressive teeth and the blade is a little sturdier. I don't use the B&D Navigator as a jigsaw as this is really not its strength.Overall: These are a very good option for those looking to save money, cut faster, or both. Comparing the two, I'd say that the only real OEM advantage is that, with the less aggressive teeth, the finished cut is nicer.

Thes fit my Black and Decker navigator perfectly. A good assortment of sizes so you'll usually have one the size you need for any job. Seem to be made of good steel and sharpened properly for the job.

Wood blades are poor quality. Teeth wear out too quick.

I am using these on my old Navigator saw, which has been my main saw for trimming dead limbs off of trees and cutting the branches down to size so they meet yard waste rules in my city. I only really needed a new wood blade, though it is nice to have the others since I lost track of the originals that came with the saw long ago. These blades are excellent quality - they seem at least as strong as the originals - and it was very easy to switch out the old one with the new one.
