I bought it 6 months ago to mostly be used as a dog outdoor shower. So far so good, it's already lasting longer than predecessor Melnor brand one which leaked at valve axle very early. I have forgot to drain its hose in a multiple days hard freeze, when could see a sizeable icicle at the hose spigot end. It survived this event intact.

Over the course of my 60+ years working in my yard or in my family's yards, this is probably the nicest, sturdiest, most multi-functional water nozzle I've ever been blessed to use. It is a bit heavy, which I thought would be a problem. It is not. It has great reach if you want it, and the mist function works so wonderfully well, coming from 3 conical ports that overlap each other, that I can sit it on the ground 10+ feet from where I'm working under a popup canopy, in our HOT California summers (90-100 degree days), and it drifts across my work area keeping me cool enough to work for hours. Which is where I'm heading right now. :-)

You won't be disappointed.I purchased this to replace an existing hose head that was wearing out and was a little disappointed that I didn't choose one with a swivel feature. What I mean is that I have to wrestle with the heavy duty hose instead of being able to twist the hose head to get the spray to go where i want it.It's a minor thing for most people but for me it's a bit of a deal breaker.Apart from that this is a great hose head, has all the settings I need, and excellent water pressure.RECOMMENDED.

This is a heavy duty nozzle. It's pretty heavy for a nozzle which makes me think it will last longer. (no cheap plastic). Works great and no leaks which is the reason I bought it since my previous nozzle was leaking

I have two of these and am thinking of buying another. I like them a lot. Feels substantial and heavy. One thing to know, though, is that if the dial is not turned exactly to the setting selected, no water will come out. This has happened to me several times. Each time I'm puzzled and check first to see if the water is turned on, and then whether there might be a kink in the hose. Finally I fiddle with the dial and realize that it wasn't precisely set to the setting. And voila, once I make that adjustment, it works perfectly.

Love the different water speeds which makes it perfect to provide different types of water pressure on various plant types. The on and off slide bar makes watering so easy. Definitely worth the money for its durability, and performance. And it’s not heavy at all.

This is a bit pricey for a garden sprayer. It replaces a similar but much cheaper one I had gotten from Harbor Freight 8-9 years ago. That one got to the point where the trigger would not release once pressed. This one has a design which should prevent this from happening with a push-pull thumb valve. Overall, I would expect it to last at least as many years as the old one. To me the one big disappointment is the jet spray setting, which is nowhere near as a pinpoint or truly hard blasting as the cheap older model from HF. The other settings are all good enough or perhaps even better than the old one. However, I use the jet setting for when I don't feel like dragging out my high pressure sprayer. This one just doesn't have the finer true jet basting stream to clean off my siding when needed, and we use it a lot for that. That's it, and it was a little pricey, much more so than the old one.
