A lovely flavoured, creamy soup.
Another lovely Heinz soup. There is something about the flavour of mushroom soups that is just lovely.Creamy and with a hint of smokiness.Combined with chicken, you get a lovely warming bowl of soup.It is also perfect as a base to a chicken stew or casserole.Nutritionally it's what I would call inert.Nothing too bad, but not a lot of nutritional goodness either. It's only 1.6% sugar, which is very good.Salt wise I would class it as medium. It is 0.6% salt, which sounds low. But that does work out at a whole tin giving you 40% of your recommended daily allowance.(The salt content of this soup is amber on the traffic light system). It does contain wheat, so isn't suitable for a gluten free diet. It's low in fat at 2.8%. With saturates being a tiny 0.4%.It's 4% mushrooms and 2% chicken. So you are definitely eating this for the taste, rather than the nutritional benefits of mushrooms and chicken. However, having said all that, it is very tasty, and as I previously stated, is my first choice as a base sauce when cooking a chicken stew.I hope you found this review helpful.

Good value for money
Tasty and warm on a cold day. A pleasant liquid with "body" enough to fill an empty stomach! Good value for money in the shopping basket.

This all down to the makers they’ve made a great name for their selves and their products are 100%
I enjoyed it very much, so I have had it before and I will have it again brilliant

Very soupy.
It’s kind of what it says on the tin… it’s soup, with leek and potato. When it’s in your mouth tastes of potato, with leek, at the same time!I enjoyed it warm. Although, if you are desperate you perhaps could eat it straight from the tin as it has a ring pull. I haven’t tried it, I like soups heated. The tin is useful to hold things afterwards (after you clean it with soapy warm water). I hold pens and pencils in mine sometimes. Other times it just sits on my desk reminding me of the time a ate the soup.
