It works as it should. I read that the lights are hard to see and they are, but you can hold your hand by it to see them. I wish there were more graduated levels.

I think this will do what I want from it. Will have to give it some time to be sure. Winter is on us and battery usage will be limited till spring get here.

Fairly easy to install. Now I can keep track of all three batteries on my boat how much charge they have in them.

The instalation instructions tell you to mount the unit fore, on your dashboard. Batteries are usually aft with the engines. The unit is designed to monitor 3 batteries. The supplied harness is short at around 5 ft. Why would the designers think a 5 ft boat would have 3 batteries? So plan on working up a new harness for this unit. It needs to be mounted on your console out of direct sunlight to be useful. Its a great idea. I just think for $50 they should include a usable harness.

Good size, works well

with a few modifications this could be awesome instead they made cheap some parts that take away from its potential. the side panels need to have some kind of snap built into the plastic instead you end up using a glue or puddy to keep the small tabs on the sides on. Functionally it does what is suppose to and keeps you informed of the battery charge.

This unit was added to a 3 bank battery charger to show the charge to all 3 banks at a push of a switch. No more guessing from being low to being fully charged.It is well built and easly used. This was installed in The Emergency Communications Trailer I built. It's equipped with Icom radios and other amateur radios.

This item was a replacement. Great fit works awesome. No more drained batteries on the pond.
