Accurate! I checked it against a quality tape measure...
We recently measured several windows for new blinds. On the first four windows, as we recorded measurements, I checked, double-checked, and triple-checked various readings compared with a Lufkin tape measure. I was pleasantly surprised. The accuracy for most laser measurers is typically down to an eighth-inch. This one is consistently dead-on to sixteenths. Out of curiosity, I measured over longer distances out to 60 feet or so, and saw no degradation in accuracy. Additionally, the backlit display is nice and bright and the distance reading time is very quick. I also like how the laser blinks to indicate a solid reading is acquired. Good design on this one.

Accurate, easy to use, reflects off multiple surfaces.
This laser measuring device works great, is highly accurate and reflects off multiple surfaces, including trees! It's great for single-person measuring. I needed to measure outdoors and it gave accurate measurement off a tree. It can calculate area and volume as well. Handy little pouch for carrying and protecting.I'd buy it again; good value for the money.

What A Difference!
We are planning a bit of reconstruction to move my father-in-law in and our old laser measure - which was only a few years old! - kept erroring out. My husband said enough was enough and purchased this one. Needless to say, he was like a child at Christmas. He drove me crazy - he measured things he really didn't need to just because "it was so easy!" Truly, though, he found this so easy right out of the box. It took us no time to take correct measurements and get them to the contractors. It made life so much easier. He has recommended this to his coworkers as well.

Best one
Purchased both Bauihr and Kiprim. Both work very well and function almost identically. They were close in price with Bauihr at $21 and Kiprim was $28. The only real difference (aside from color) was the Kiprim came with a target card for the laser. Since anything for the laser to hit does the same thing as that card, i would save the $7 and definately go with this laser

Great tool! Easy to use, with a lot of options.
Did a lot of research on Laser Meters before purchasing this one about a month ago. Had to use it with part of my body in a septic tank to measure the size of the cement tank. It did the job flawlessly.

Great value
I should have bought this along time ago and not put up with my cheap harbor freight one. It paid for itself the first time I used it. Awesome!

Doesn’t work well in outdoors/daylight
I think it would probably work well indoors, but I needed something with a stronger laser for outdoor use- this wasn’t it.

Simple to use but very accurate
The media could not be loaded. The video goes into much more detail, including a quick demonstration and an overview of how I've found using it. I also go into the features it does - and doesn't - have. However, in a nutshell:Things I liked:+ Value. For £30, it's a really good device.+ Accuracy is excellent. I found it gave almost identical readings to my much more expensive laser measure.+ The basic features are all there - distance up to 50m, recording measurements in memory (you can store up to 99 at a time), area and volume calculations etc.+ Very simple to use...Things I didn't like:- ...once you have worked out what the manual is actually trying to tell you. Important tip if you do get this: "loose" the button means "release" the button.- A tripod mount would have been very welcome and I wouldn't have thought it would put the cost up too much.- Finds it very difficult to read reflective surfaces (e.g. windows), as you might expect.Do I recommend it?Yes, at £30, definitely. It's accurate but also simple. It's like the pocket calculator of laser measures - built to be good at one specific job and achieves this very well.

Practical and convenient
It works great and saves so much time, more convenient than the tape measure because I can use it without someone holding up at the end, it is accurate for most of our DIY construction works around the house.

Handy compact size
The media could not be loaded. Really impressed with the size and compact unit of this Auto measurement calculator, love that it comes in a belt case and you also have a wristband brilliantInstruction manual is it quite comprehensive easy to follow and easy to use the type itselfReally impressed with the two little bubbles as it helps ensure everything is level before you measure brilliant very please however, to work everything out effectively and on the go it takes a little bit of practice to work out all the measurements full volume and area et cetera. Happy to use this on my day-to-day work and happily recommend.

Better than a tape measure
The media could not be loaded. Hi a great way to measure rooms and distance quickly, it gives you different measurements to choose from easily, a good display, Im not saying get rid of your tape measure, but to judge rooms for carpeting or skirting or the garden for slabs, decking or turf, this is the tool for that, it’s way better than a traditional tape measure 😀

Brilliant and so useful
Laser Measure,165ft Laser Distance Meter, Portable Laser Measurement Tool with 2 Bubble Levels, ….I have never had one of these laser meters before so I cannot compare its functions to others, but so far, I am impressed with what it can do. I thought that a laser measuring meter would just tell you distance from the laser unit to an object, being a wall or ceiling etc. However, this meter can calculate lengths of objects indirectly using trigonometry as well as calculate areas and volumes. There are several modes for direct and indirect measuring, in standard use, it just takes a straight measurement, but if you take several from the same point, it will give you a minimum, maximum and average over as many readings as you wish giving you a greater accuracy. Other modes can take 2 or 3 measurements and calculate area and volume. More advanced are the triangle modes, where you can measure the length of an object from a distance, such as measuring the height of a wall from either ground level or a mid-point level whilst standing back from it. Brilliant! The measurement units can be changed from mm to inches, feet, etc, the display is large, bright, and clear. The accuracy is great, (far better than a manual tape anyway!), it seems to do a minimum of 45mm from the front of the unit but the maximum depends on light levels (outside) as I have managed just under 8m maximum in daylight on a dull day, but I cannot even see the laser dot so it’s irrelevant really, (It is supposed to measure up to 50m). It takes 2 x AAA batteries which they do supply with it along with a small carry pouch and lanyard. The instructions are quite clear and most importantly they are readable. It is very easy to use too, but there are a couple of things I would have liked, maybe a ¼ inch thread so it could be mounted on a tripod or similar for a more stable platform when using indirect measurements and maybe a digital level function to complement the built-in (but tiny) bubble levels.Overall, I am impressed with this little gadget. I’m sure there are functions I have missed and never having one of these before I don’t know if the above functions are standard or particular to this one, either way I think it’s great and can fully recommend it.
